We booked this very last minute, as our flight from Pisa was cancelled & the staff were really helpful & friendly, the dinner was lovely too!

Very clean well kept hotel. Lovely apartment with comfortable beds and very close to the airport so you can easily walk.

We are a family of 5 and we knew we were getting a sofa bed for the 5th bed but it wasn’t made up and it was a sofa rather than a sofa bed. We found extra sheets to make the bed up and it was cosy enough but I think it is really an apartment for 4.

I’m delighted to share our fantastic experiences at Hotel Blue Shades in Pisa. This marked our second year in a row visiting, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the warm hospitality provided by Gianluca. On both occasions, we encountered unexpected travel issues, and Gianluca went above and beyond to accommodate us at short notice, even staying up late to welcome us with open arms. His personal touch extended to preparing delightful snacks and refreshing drinks for our family, truly making us feel at home. It’s evident that Gianluca takes pride in his role and cares deeply about his guests’ comfort and happiness. Overall, our stays at Hotel Blue Shades have been nothing short of exceptional, largely due to Gianluca’s impeccable service and welcoming nature. We can’t wait to return for yet another amazing experience. I just can hope that „Isabella“ appreciated the value, Gianluca is providing to this hotel ;-)

Close to airport.

We had two rooms. The one on the upper level was nice and clean. The AC worked. The one on the lower level did not have a working AC. We arrived via train and could not get a taxi. So we walked to hotel. Very scary neighborhood.

I felt it was a little too expensive. However, it was a place for us to stay after a lengthy delay in our flights and the staff were really nice

The staff/owners were very accommodating and looked after us very well. Chiko, the owners’ dog, added to the comfort. The food served was fantastic.

I have to give a 1 star review because I need a receipt from Blue Shades to make a claim against Easyjet and they have ignored 2 e mails. Booking.com have also ignored a third e mail. This is going to cost me money by the loss of the claim.

Everything! From the beautiful lady that welcomes you from the front desk to the cleanliness, the well appointed rooms and the staff that are friendly, welcoming and kind! I will return to Italy just to stay at this very stylish, fantastic and brilliant hotel. The location is excellent too.

air conditioning display unit was broken although air conditioning did still work. the rooms were advertised with soundproofing and minibar. not sure they had soundproofing & there was no minibar in the room just an empty bottle fridge.
