Very easy going and very clean

Hospedaje Manatiales is located around 25 min away from the main street. As we stayed there for a week, walking back and forth was a bit tiring, but it also offered us the opportunity to go the opposite direction and find a much less packed parrilla and cocktail bar overlooking the lake! The place also faces the lake and offers beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset – we even got to see a couple of flamingos at the waterside! We would definitely stay there again. The owner is very kind and had no hard time going the extra mile to make us feel comfortable at his place. We were offered one room but then moved to a bigger one, with the best view, as well as coffee and conversations with the owner, who also gave us a ride to the bus station in the middle of the night on our last day :)

Practice for a one night stay before going to the airport as we did. The bed was comfortable.

Twin beds were very small and it felt like we were in the children's bedroom, that hadn't been redecorated since they left. Bedding was old and stained

The cost-value ratio of this place is unbeatable: it's basically cheaper than camping and you have a nice roof and bed. Also you get to use a fully equipped kitchen. The heating in the house is very good which is nice to consider in El Calafate given it is a cold location.

I don't think they should be advertising that breakfast is included. They had some stale bread rolls and tea/coffee packets spread on a table😐
