The staff were beautiful humans. Everyone I encountered or spoke to on the phone was kind and considerate. Bouvi (?) The chef at breakfast on the morning of the 1st , April. He was so helpful in providing a ham and cheese toastie for my very aged father. Room Service is excellent. The bed and pillows were super comfortable for me. I would like to know the brands they use, please. The bathroom was excellent. I also like that they are eco-wise.

I was in a Marina Twin room. The room size was inadequate. The patio was dated, and the planks on the edge of the patio were bending. The base underneath the flooring is concrete. It did cause anxiety when it was noticed, but having a concrete foundation was helpful. I understand the furniture on the patio must withstand the weather conditions, but it too needs a change. Inside the room, the lounge/ bench seating did not make it comfortable for two people to sit at the round table. Perhaps this room could have a queen and a king single, that would then allow for a table and chairs setting. It could then also offer another nightstand. The jug was something I would expect at a Motel. The Nespresso machine was handy. However, its size meant I had to press it 4 times to get a mug of coffee. There was no other coffee on hand. We were using this room for sleeping only, as we were visiting family and inspecting properties. I made this booking through Bookings.com. I also may have been charged twice, and there was no free upgrade as expected with my level. Overall, it served its purpose. To pay $21.00 a day for underground parking, as well as what I paid for accommodation. I was a little disappointed. We are returning, I may ask for a tour before deciding on which room to choose, or if, in fact, I would stay there again. Booking .com, the images on the website were better than the real room. I loved the view, but a walk on the wharf or Esplanade could afford the same view.

The property is very well located with all the travel and tourism facilities. The staff was very well versed with their duties and they were very welcoming and were very curtious. The breakfast was the best.

The location is ideal and close to all amenities. The pool and fitness centre was maintained well. The Garden was beautiful.

The Seaview room was nice but sparse….. there were only 2 drawers in the whole room!! It was an extremely long walk from Reception to our room…as there was only one set of lifts!!! Difficult for a couple in their seventies!!

Paid for the best room with a view a space. Found out we had helicopters taking off and landing all day. Noisy during the day with the helicopters and had to keep our doors closed at night with the noise down below on the pier. Also, our room was not ready. Had to spend one night in another room. Then transfer to the room we booked. AND, can't use the pool - it is so damn cold. What a wasted space.

The noise from the maintenance work happening literally underneath the room we were given was super annoying however at least it was only during daylight hours

The rooms were nice and spacious in the Horizon club floor. The breakfast was really good too with a lot of choice. The location was very central especially if you want to do any reef tours and close proximity to alot restaurants.

The house keeping could do a better job.

Quick check-in, though the staff was new. Pool was super and the location cannot be better. Overlooking the pier, it was fabulous.

They gave us a room in the middle of the corridor so it was a very very long walk for us. There could be some more food options at the pool which I think was a miss.

Very commercialised, very disappointed. Paid $260 for 1 night. Then had to pay for parking, also took security bond and now waiting for that to be reimbursed into my account. Very basic room for the price, had bottom sheet but no top sheet just a Dooner. Bathroom had someone else's hair on the Tiles. I usually stay else where, they were booked out. I certainly won't be staying here again. My daughter and I Travel alot this is the 2nd time I've paid an excess amout to stay somewhere and both times disappointed.

We were there for our ten year anniversary, so we let them know ahead of time. However, we were a little shocked when they left a $5 bottle of Hardy's sparkling wine in the fridge. I don't even think I drank that when I was a teenager. We are adults in our 30s! I think for an expensive 5-star hotel, they could have done a bit better than the cheapest plonk they could find. It wasn't even offered on their usual wine list. It was a little embarrassing to be honest. I have personally stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels for special occasions in the past, but have never received such a frugal offering. Even a $15 prosecco - or just a free dessert! Would have been better. The food at the backyard restaurant was good but not consistent. We dined there on our first night and really enjoyed the steak and the calamari. However, two days later we ordered the calamari again (because it was great the first time) by the pool and it smelt weirdly fishy, like it was about to turn. I also found rotten lettuce in the side salad, which wasn't dressed like the one we had before. I had to send it back.
