The staff were very helpful and so nice to deal with and the rooms were really clean. The location was superb as it was within close walking distance of the main commercial centre of the city, without all the hustle and bustle, and it felt quite safe at night. There is also a bus stop right outside the door which is very handy for travelling to and from the airport. We were made to feel so welcome that It felt like it was a home away from home. The shower/bathroom facilities were fantastic, and I always appreciate a large shower head with powerful water flow. The breakfast was not included in our original booking, but we decided to try it on our first morning. It was a well laid out continental breakfast that was so tasty, we ended up booking it in for the rest of our trip. As a 3 star hotel it's also great value for money, and we will definitely be staying here the next time we return to La Rochelle
I would probably look to book a bigger room the next time we visit (and we will be back!), but that's only a small quibble

Room was small but perfect. Lots of lovely art work throughout the hotel. Breakfast was one of the nicest buffet breakfasts of our trip. It was only an 8 minute walk to the harbour through a small park and lovely streets.

Good location
A kettle in the room but no English tea they had run out a maid got me one the only one she could find but no milk in the room to go with the tea or coffee and the water in the bottle provided didn’t taste nice

Our second stay here and it will not be our last. This lovely old property has been beautifully restored and decorated, the rooms are large and comfortable with huge beds which are extremely comfortable. The short walk into La Rochelle through the park is very easy to enjoy the huge array of restaurants, bars and street vendors. The staff are very welcominh and helpful and the breakfast also was excellent. Thanks again Le Manoir !!

Great value for money, hotel is smart and short walk to the market
Rooms are not massive but fine if you don't plan on spending long in them. It's a bit of a walk down to the port and onto the train station

A really good hotel ! Easy to find and just a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of the city, though close to a bus route also. Parking in front of the hotel was extremely useful (reserve before you arrive). The welcome was warm, and the room was well equipped. Large bathroom. The hotel décor is very smart and super clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and many home-baked cakes and breakfast treats. We would certainly stay again, and since we often visit this city we probably will !

Breakfast was superb and an excellent location. We had the whole chateau to ourselves and our room was massive. A beautiful place.
We went into local town for the evening and had a real job trying to find something to eat. It was coming up to end of September, but we have never had this problem in france before. It did sa online not to expect much food wise, but we were really surprised

the location of this hotel is perfect, staff, clean, window and the view
I have liked everything except two things: it's water in the shower was quite cold and that I was waked up early morning , at 7.30 am because of the noise of the closing doors near my room.

The check in was good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We had booked a parking space in advance which was a bonus. Unfortunately the room was very small. It was difficult for two people to move around. No bedside table on one side and no shelves. The bathroom was good and a powerful shower. Locality good and about a 10 min walk into the centre.

Helpful staff, clean modern hotel, comfy bed and a good shower. The lift was useful for our heavy suitcases. Location is actually pretty good - just across the park from the shops and La Rochelle market. Also really easy to get to the airport as the bus stop is right outside the hotel.
Our superior double room was pretty small and cramped. After a long journey we were tired and wanted to order some food, but had to walk into La Rochelle as no room service (drinks only) and no shops nearby (boulangerie opposite was closed)

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff .We had the loft room which had a great French quirky feel to it .Very clean and close to the center would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

the description said, "Antiques in all the rooms" but I didnt see any antiques. Perhaps there are some in the upgraded rooms...but then that isn't ALL, is it? Breakfast, though abundant and beautiful was expensive at 13€ per person with no hot savory choices.

Very close to the bus terminals, plenty of charm in a historical building, attentive and amiable staff. A wonderful mix of modern and traditional styles.

5-Star service from the reception staff. Nice quiet comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.
Tea/Coffee maker in room would have been nice, but it was possible to get them from the dining room.
