Location is convenient accessible to places of interest . Surroundings are pleasant and quiet .

Sophie was so welcoming even with such short notice, our room was upgraded, and any requests catered to. We were left to enjoy ourselves but always felt able to reach out. The room was perfect, especially loved the little balcony.

Beautiful bedroom with very large and comfortable bed. Very spacious with balcony to sit out on which overlooked the park.

Very few facilities/amenities to the B&B or room, particularly considering the price point. One type of each tea bag, no breakfast (we had assumed it may be an add on but we told it just isn’t an option), WiFi didn’t work and we were back relatively late after a family meal so didn’t want to call to ask. Very basic shower facilities with (seemingly old) rough towels and no toiletries provided.

Central location, lovely characterful house. Kettle in room. Landlady seemed pleasant and welcoming.

I paid £140 for one night, 3rd June 2022, during Jubilee Bank holiday. There was no breakfast available at the hotel. The accommodation was 3*. I didn't think it was good value.

Bedroom had amazing views of mountains and bed was exceptionally comfortable. Price range would normally include breakfast

Disappointed with the property.

We stayed in a lovely bohemian style room at the front of the house, with a balcony overlooking Fitz Park. Sophie is a lovely hostess; welcoming, friendly, helpful and a great communicator. Fitz House is literally 2-3 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick.

shower room in need of revamp and deep clean, the bedding didn’t fit the bed correctly,bottom sheet too small for the bed and towels old and like cardboard. storage for bags and hanging clothes very limited. kettle had to be used on the floor or small ledge ( accident waiting to happen)

location was excellent as was the hostess Sophie. the balcony was an added bonus.

Place is ok for one night stay not the cleanest of b&b’s.

Could be fresher and cleaner the bedding had marks on it and the place was grubby

Sophie was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. location was ideal, just minutes away from many cafes restaurants and bars. Room was clean and bed was comfy.
