The property is absolutely paradise. The views are beautiful, the property is maintained beautifully and the accommodation is wonderful and clean.

We shocked for views of this place. It's absolutely better than pictures. Pretty much everything was perfect. Breakfast was amazing with the incredible views. The house owner was very nice too.

A great place to stay the scenery and the position together with the owners made this venue a great place to relax and enjoy denis and jill.

The service was exceptional. The staff were extremely accommodating, warm, made to feel at home. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The view outside my window was breathtaking. Excellent property with stunningly attractive scenery. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I didn't like that my stay was short. I wish I could have stayed longer. But I will definitely return again in the near future.

What an incredible place to stay! We loved Te Awa and can’t wait to come back. The hosts were so accommodating and the daily breakfasts were hearty and delicious. The pool was amazing and the location on the river was so good. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, Netflix on the telly and comfy couches. 10/10!

A bit of road noise but not too bad. The river can be heard which is a pleasant distraction.

The location was exceptional - the staff extremely accommodating and friendly. We loved every minute of the stay at the lodge. My partner fell in love with Coco the dog and wanted to take her with us lol. The facilities out of this world and comfortable for the price. Awesome pool and awesome continental breakfast. The hosts even allowed us for a really late checkout and a swim on the day we left which I find going above and beyond for customer service but what can you expect from ex Air NZ staff members - only the best.

There is nothing I can say that I disliked about the stay - maybe the only thing I can mention about what we disliked, the fact that we didnt book for longer and stayed longer.

The property exceeded expectations compared to the photos where it was advertised. We loved the pool and the view! We enjoyed the breakfast which was cooked personally for us, and at a time that was suited for us. The breakfast choices were great too. The hospitality was amazing and we enjoyed our interactions thoroughly :)

The location was peaceful and beautiful within a short drive to Paihia. The hosts were wonderful people, we so enjoyed being there. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful river outlook. The pool had all day sun. There were fantastic areas to eat and relax around the property. We loved it.

Everything!! the hospitality from the hosts was second to none. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept, the pool is lovely, the breakfast is great, the beds are comfy and everything is so clean. A very short drive from the hustle & bustle of Paihia so it feels very quiet and peaceful, however close enough for easy access. We really enjoyed using the bbq and having a meal overlooking the river. You will not regret staying here!!

The location is nice and not crowded. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday this place is the perfect place to stay.

The pool is nice but its better if they have a hot tub or heated pool so you can swim anytime.

The room was awsome and cozy and had what we needed .hosts were amazing and very interactive as well as giving us our space bed was sooo comfy and they gave us brekkie each morning and a cheese platter and of course the view was very relaxing and lovely when you could see the sun rise and set and there are deer...had a lovely stay while traveling to cape and Russell

Sensor lights outside didn't seem to work on the balcony or coming up the path.

Location was perfect, 7km out of Paihia but close enough if needed to get to the supermarket. Grounds were beautiful, pool was lovely and wonderful view from cottage across the river to neighbouring farms ( deer present at times ). Cottage had everything we needed and the owners were there for any help if necessary. Owners provided good knowledge of area. We will definitely stay here again if in area and highly recommend, as it is peaceful and away from the town busyness etc. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here.

On main road but not a big problem. The benefits certainly outweighed this.

The hosts were very warm and friendly. The location is amazing, to wake up to and fall asleep to. The breakfast was delicious and healthy and all the facilities were clean ALL the time. The pool is goals.
