Fully self contained. Quiet in a lovely setting. Access to an outdoor pool. Outside seating area. Full kitchen, and also a washing machine. Comfortable bed. Lovely helpful hosts.

Louise and Matthew are very gracious hosts, from the first meeting to the end of your stay. My husband and Matthew had a lovely talk about motorbikes and we chatted about the garden which is superbly maintained. We unfortunately didn't have a dip in the pool which is heated as we didn't have any swimmers. Sitting in the little garden next to the Cottage at night with a beverage and some nibbles was spectacular, later having a barbecue which is easy to set up in the area was so lovely. We had a vehicle and driving into Christchurch was so easy, the cottage is situated just near the Airport and just off one of the major freeways. It is a little oasis very quiet considering the airport is so close. The cottage is extremely comfortable and very cosy, period furniture that fits perfectly with the surrounds, there is everything that you need for a considerable or short stay. The bed is so comfortable and the bed coverings high quality. We will be back for a longer stay next time. Thank you Louise and Matthew.

Marvallous stay so clean and comfortable, loved the heated swimming pool, and the little extras ie beautiful fresh fruit bowl, and cookies for our hot beverages, somewhere you just don't want to leave.
