The bar was very nicely designed and had very cosy atmosphere. They serve variety of cocktails and delicious cakes. The bartenders there were very professional!

the shower was weak and sewer tends to clog. also after taking shower the bathroom floor was soaked. Since it‘s old building, there are a lot of small steps. My husband hit his head to the same door frame 3 times.

Yasmin the receptionist was amazing, very caring, helped with everything needed and even beyond that. She upgraded our rooms on her own initiative. Gave a feeling of welcome guests. The hotel is amazing and the breakfast is wonderful. I will happily go back there in the future

The location, the room, the view from the room, the furniture, the style, the atmosphere, the breakfast buffet, simply awesome. The staff friendly and helpful. Nice walks starting at the hotel. Quiet location.

The room was almost like a suite, with a main bedroom, a little side room with sofa and armchair that could be turned into a bed and a little tower room like an enclosed balcony. The view from our windows was amazing with the river Rhine just outside and a nature reserve on the opposite shore. Just looking out of the window and enjoying the view at different times of the day was a joy.

Beautiful location on the lake, monumental building full of character, comfy rooms.

Nice location, comfortable bed, generally clean, and good quality breakfast.

On arrival into our room, the door had been previously forced open (whilst locked) making it impossible to secure. We reported the damage within two minutes of our arrival, and the Manager inferred that we must have caused the damage as the cleaning staff who had serviced the room earlier had reported no fault with the door. He went onto ask sarcastically if we knew how the door opened (with the credit card key) !Zero customer service and was only interested in trying to shift blame onto us. Eventually the door was repaired, though no apology for the delay in our checking in, or for the horrendous customer service from the Manager on site.
