Very nice small property. Large comfortable rooms, comfortable bed. We really liked the deck and its bean bags overlooking the pool. Quiet. The staff was great. Just a few min drive from beaches. Restaurants near by.
Wifi was ok, could be stronger.

Everything! Staff were super friendly and catered to everything we needed, the room were of an excellent quality and amazing facilities. I’ll be sure to come back here the next time I’m in Mexico!
Nothing! everything we could have wanted or asked for was provided!

it's beautifully taken care of and very nicely decorated. the room was quite big and had everything we needed. the dinner we had at the other location of this hotel was amazing and really delicious. personally I found it sad that there was no vegetarian or vegan option on the menu but they were able to create something very delicious for me anyways :)
there were some strange noises at night behind our wall next to the bed and we couldn't figure out what it was, we believe it must have been some kind of animal. but it didn't bother us much as we chose to be in the jungle.
the access road though was really tough to drive and not enjoyable at all.

The stuff was very kindely and help with everything we needed.
Even thay transport us to the collectivo station with our baggage.
The room was big and comfy.
The food was very good.
Near the hotel there are nice cenotes.
Ideal for couple who wants piece of quiet, the place is a bit far, so you will need a car for convinient.
During our stay some cockroachs came out from the deck of the shower.

it was like a private paradise nestled in the jungle- being low season for a lot of my 2 week stay I had the place to myself! rooms are spacious, clean and very aesthetically pleasing.
perhaps a little far from things if you don’t have a car- paying for transport can add up to be a little expensive but the staff were super accomodating of my travel needs.

Hector was a hero delivering food to our room while we were recovering from a jet lag.
swimming pool is very nice.
air conditioning outside units left top room makes quite a lot of noise (resonating on the roof).

Excellent service, Juan Pablo
greeted as at the gate and ensured we were taken care of the entire time! He was so nice and friendly! The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. The breakfast was as added bonus. Perfect place to unwind and relax! While the road was bumpy, the road maintained by the Resort was better. The resort is remote, but that’s why we chose to stay there, and is also very close to many Cenotes.
As noted in other comments the road to the entrance drive was a little long and bumpy, definitely need a car.

location
service of staff (Eric & chef, not the manager Hector)
food (although pricy)
wifi was not working, therefore we had to go to other places by car to be able to check our e-mails, to book tours… we have experience with jungle-hotels and this is the first one that can’t offer wifi as promised, although they are “working on it”
the road to the hotel is like a jungle ride with buggy. you don’t like it but you can enjoy it as part of the experience
we asked a pcr test at the hotel to be able to be flying home again. the manager booked this for us and agreed the price of 1.500 pesos per person beforehand by email. the day before he told us we have to pay 600 more for transportation of the doctor to our hotel. the day itself the doctor came with only an EG/anti-gen test but we had to pay the full price in cash to the manager. the conversation that followed while we explained that such a test is only 400-600 pesos in the city, was very unfriendly. we really felt ripped off at our last day paying 180 dollars for a quick EG-test which should only cost 25 dollars

Very quiet and relaxing. Provide high quality food. Staff are friendly.
The only inconvenience is the bumpy road to this resort.

Such a beautiful setting , an oasis in the middle of the jungle
All staff were amazing, special mention to Jesus and Roberto who were so friendly, hard working and accommodating
Absolutely amazing food thank you Roberto, taking time, love and care to prepare
Only 6 rooms and made to feel very special
beautiful sunbeds and pool area and a roof top
the dirt track to the property is a bit dubious
have to account for a taxi fare (about 55USD to Playa del carmen ) as no public transport nearby
no restaurants etc nearby but the food was so lovely we were happy to eat at the hotel
We hired bikes to ride to Xcacel beach but it was disappointing. so much sargassum

The place is awesome for solitude and time with nature. Don’t book this place if you want “fake” nature - like Xcaret, like book that circus instead. This spot is actually wild, we had a giant scorpion in the dining area and the staff had the good sense to release it outside the property instead of killing it. They are mindful of being situated where they are, which is within wilderness and since we are infringing on wild, wild should be respected and protected. Don’t know if they recycle, and would appreciate this place being more connected to local conservation efforts. And a part of the stay payment going toward protecting the wilderness. Please do not litter along the way. Great place to read and get work done! The staff were like family! We loved them all! Pablo and Gemma (the owner) went above and beyond to get us sorted when we had our car towed!! We loved the team behind the place!! They are worth all five stars.
Well we were given a 20% discount as we didn’t stay at Xcacel Dreams but at their newer property xcacel Magic, which is a lot more rustic. Not tiled floors etc, more like jungle lodge “barefoot” experience. I’d recommend it for those who love nature and don’t want to party in Tulum. It’s not for wild influencers or picky, nature averse (freaked out by bugs and lizards) folks. Also the team was just getting the menu and drink list discerned so we got to be guinea pigs which we actually didn’t mind. Don’t think magic should be priced equivalent to Dreams as Dreams is more built out, has more finesse.

A charming and luxurious suite in the heart of the jungle, with a charming staff that enjoys a high level of service. Intimate, high value for money, and suitable for people who appreciate quiet.
You have to have wheels to get there, it is difficult to get taxis and there is no scooter or bicycle rental

Great place, very calm, quiet and relaxing environment. Spacy rooms, very friendly and helpful staff (speaking just a little English).
Quite monotonous breakfast - been there for six days and it was fruit, filled croissant and toast with jam every day. Also, the road to the venue is very bumpy. The pool would need more regular maintenance.
