L’emplacement proche de Matera, la possibilité de manger dans le jardin, les boissons et viennoiseries à notre disposition et les prospectus de promenades fournis ainsi que la disponibilité du propriétaire.

L’appartement est en sous-sol avec un éclairage extérieur très restreint : manque de lumière.

The hosts were outstanding, very kind and always trying to help us with every need or request. Nino and his dad did above and beyond to make our stay in Matera an unforgettable experience.

The wifi connection was a bit inconsistent and could be improved in the future.

- Very spacious and clean apartment with all necessities for cooking our own meals. - Kind owner, who had left us a delicious sweet surprise for the Father's Day, and his son who speaks fluent English, greeted us upon arrival and gave us some valuable information about the surrounding areas. - Nice terrace in the garden with a barbeque grill, that we unfortunately couldn't enjoy due to the very cold and windy weather at the time.

- Nothing to complain about. - A little bit far from the Matera center but since we had a rental car, it wasn't a problem for us.

Nino was super nice to accommodate our check in time, he showed us the apartment and also let our rental car park at the property.

The breakfast was coffee, juice, Joghurt, crackers and bun, we expected to have some cheese and ham. Since the apartment is in the basement, it was really cold to sleep even though we had the heater on and extra blanket. We thought it would be the same if er tell the owner so we continued sleeping.

We were met on arrival at the train station by our very helpful host and taken to the property, and on departure, taken to the bus station - excellent service! The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and breakfast (croissants etc.) were left by our door each morning at an agreed time. Coffee, tea, biscuits and more were left for us in the apartment. The bus to the centre of town stopped by the apartment and took around 10 minutes. We were advised to buy bus tickets at the nearby bar as they were cheaper and cost less than a euro each way.

Nothing to not like. Buses to/from the apartment only ran to 10pm - after that, it was a taxi back, but it was not a problem for us. There was not much in the local vicinity (shops, places to eat etc) but the town centre was very close, with a large range of paces to eat etc.
