Perfect peaceful beach rooms. Owner is amazing and very helpful. The view is stunning. Wifi is great. The location is close to everything but not so busy. Would recommend 100x.

There is a wonderful sailing catamaran, fits 6 persons, for rent. And also an estupendous rising sun on the wooden bridge!

The location was beautiful, on the quiet side of the island with one of the few remaining over-the-water bungalows left on the island. Nguyen, the houseman, is absolutely amazing! We were always greeted with a bright smile and a genuinely gracious demeanor. He arranged our daily breakfast, laundry service and scooter rental. He even helped me track down a phone repair service after mine took a swim! We originally booked two nights but booked two more after we we realized what a gem we had discovered. If I'm fortunate enough to return to Phu Quoc I will definitely be staying here again! Ngu is the best!

I recently stayed at the Freedom Beach resort for three nights and I couldn't have been more impressed! The owner, Lauren, was an absolute gem - always up for a chat and making everyone feel welcome. Her three adorable dogs were a constant source of entertainment as well. The resort is located right on a small beach where swimming is possible, and there are plenty of hammocks and seating areas nearby for relaxing. The on-site bar serves up delicious hot food and drinks, and I especially appreciated being able to rent a motorbike to explore the island with ease. When it was time to leave, the staff arranged a taxi for me to get back to the airport without any hassle. Overall, I would rate my experience at Freedom Beach a perfect 10. The friendly people and welcoming atmosphere make this resort a true gem!

The only minor issue I encountered during my stay at the Freedom Beach resort was the occasional presence of seaweed in the sea. However, the resort staff made sure to clean the beach every day and the seaweed did not detract from my overall enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings. In fact, it was a small reminder of the natural beauty of the area. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

I stayed for 5 nights at the resort. It was such an amazing place to be. The owner is fabulous and very welcoming. I felt immediately at home. I had my very first scooter lesson here at the resort and then I was off to explore the island. They provided me with everything I needed. Food is very good and the bar is super chill and I spent many evenings there. They also have a huge garden area with coconut trees, hammocks and nice seating areas. The beach is cleaned every day and there is also a nice little platform from where you could go into the sea. It is a nice quiet place to be far from the crowds. If you want to be in town you can be there in twenty minutes (by taxi or scooter).

My bungalow is beautifully positioned a tad off shore, and directly faces the sea with a good view of the sunrise.

Recently renovated and under new ownership, Lauren the owner is an amazing person, always a smile on her face and very at tentative. Also have English speaking Vietnamese staff with great tasting food and cold beers. The rooms also have large 20l water bottles which is rarely found in many resorts, so you never worry about running out of water.

I stayed at the sea bungalow. Nice sea view from the bungalow and very windy. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is just fine for a relax stay. There are some seafood restaurants nearby but need motorcycle to go there. Quite and peaceful place to stay

There is no sandy beach here. The beach full with rocks and dirty. No spot to swim at beach. Not much attraction at this location. No house restaurant (maybe not operate during my stay) Cab fee was somehow expensive if travel to the attraction spots (North / South of island)

- Close to nature - The staff are really friendly & helpful. They always try their best to make us feel the most comfy at the homestay. - Not too crowded. So we feel like home here where we almost have the whole kitchen & sea-bar for ourselves. - You can just simply go to Ham Ninh market (5km away) to buy fresh seafood & prepare at the homestay to have a BBQ dinner by the sea.

The personnel is very attentive and we had a very good time with them. The location is right next to the sea and it's max 30 min to the city center. We loved the possibility to sail with them.

Very friendly staff. We ordered crab that was not on the menu, but they did an excellent job of cooking it. We had an amazing dinner, following a campfire which set a nice atmosphere for our trip.

Towel, maybe they forget but we brought our own so it wasn't a big deal

Beautiful location!! Sunsets are Devine. Amazing on a budget. Egg coffee was DEVINE!!!!

Disappointed that you could see directly into our bathroom from the public walkway, no blinds, curtains etc Very slow with meals coming out. Meals tasted good though Hired motor bike kept cutting out when driving. As we slowed down it turned off. Often very difficult to start NO hot water, and water pressure was terrible - kinda expected being over the water that it wouldn't be great.

I would highly recommend to book the water bungalo! The food was great and the staff absolutly amazing!!! Thank you so much. Your Family and your dog are so warmly. Sunrise is wonderful.
