The facility was beautiful and the grounds well kept. The staff was kind and helpful. The location was great and convenient. Our room was comfortable and the balcony views beautiful. The lobby was impressive.

The food was average at best. We had two good meals, one at Panchos and the other at Zai. There was poor organization for the snack bar that had hamburgers and nachos. Many times there were long lines and food items would run out. There were not enough lounging chairs for all the guests. If you did not secure a chair by 6:30AM, you were out of luck until late afternoon. The adult pool was slippery on the steps and bottom. This normally indicates the pool needs cleaning. The swim up pool bar was located in the pool with the children? Our TV was a smart TV with available APPS but no way to use them because the remote did not have the ability to scroll or go up and down. Our room was in need of an update, with torn upholstery and wall markings and worn furniture. There was no restroom near the gym and to get to the gym one had to go outside the main building. So to get to a restroom one had to go back into the main facility and use the one off the lobby.

The hotel is in a good location with nice view and grounds. Some of the staff was friendly but some was not. The hotel was clean.

The drinks were watered down. The food wasn't good and I'm not picky. The buffet area was very loud. The pool and "hot tub" was cold. The concierge was suppose to make us a reservation at the restaurant and we get to the restaurant and they treat us like we are lying. The experience was very disappointing.

Everything in the hotel just hits the spot as an all-inclusive hotel. From the checkin to checkout, we received very nice service from our host Francisco and all the staffs in the hotel. Tasty foods and non-stop drinks are unbeatable, not to mention the good value for the price we paid.

the location in San Jose was great; it was near restaurants and grocery stores. The price for all inclusive and high season was unbeatable. The kids pool was the right size, not too big not too small. Staff was very helpful.

food in the buffet was hit or miss. Most of the time was a hit. but, when it missed it was horrible. The mexican night was the best. The "fancy" restaurant was average. Tried twice.

I liked the location of the hotel, the staff in the children's pool was friendly and the wifi was consistent throughout the property.

Several things were lacking during our stay. The room had poor air conditioning, the property needs some upkeep, the pool area does not get serviced enough with all the cups and plates that customers are generating. There's an abundance of food but the quality of it is lacking.

Breakfast and food were good. Restaurants were not always available and we had to go on their app to make reservations. They booked up very quickly so we were stuck with the buffet. Would have liked to get reservations in. Wifi was good.

I am upset at Booking.com and the hotel. Booking.com made the error of not adding my kids' ages so upon discovery, I immediately contacted both the hotel and booking.com. Upon my initial proactive inquiry to make both companies aware of the error, no one informed me it would cost extra; otherwise, I would have changed the reservation. it cost me an additional $516 to pay for my one child ($129 per night) and luckily, my husband could not make the trip so I had to argue with the hotel that I shouldn't have to pay for my 2nd child since I already paid for an adult that was not with us. Horrible experience and bad customer service from booking.com.
