What a gem of a place in the Sicilian countryside! Everything was excellent, from the beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views, to the very kind and helpful staff, and the excellent dinner in the Villa's restaurant! Highly recommend this place for a taste of Sicilian culture and a peaceful stay.

We specifically chose this place because the listing indicated there was a washing machine in the room. This was not the case. The staff were kind enough to wash our clothes, which was great. However, our preference would have been to do our own washing (we are sensitive to strongly-scented soaps and don't use fabric softener). Listing should be updated to correct this.

Everyone who pass in Sicilia should stop there. Beautiful property, stunning view from the bed, confortable bed, huge room, super kind staff, great breakfast. Everything was on top, typical and charming. Thank you again for your hospitality.

The staff was very helpfull. Food very good and is an ideal place to relax. Beautiful scenery of the Eolian islands, exactly as you walk out of the room.!

Very quiet area to stay in, and Alfredo and his staff were very helpful.

A secluded stone built olive mill, swimming pool dating back to the 17th century, with a lovely various Fruit garden and views over the sea to the Aeolian Islands.Food in the Restaurant was exceptional .The atmosphere of the restaurant is unbeatable Views ...The Boys Are so Helpful at the property..

Villa Rica's location is stunning with gorgeous views of the Eolie Islands. The owners, and their many cats (and puppies) make that place unique. The garden is full of fruit trees and the well maintained swimming pool is a luxury addition after a hot day exploring the area. The restaurant on site (and the bar) offer local cuisine with a different set menu each day. We booked this place a bit last minute and I have to say what an amazing surprise. And on top of that, the price of the room and food for what you get is just given... Highly recommended, don't think twice, you won't regret it.

It was part of the fun for us, but the access road to the property can be quite challenging if you're not a confident driver. Don't let this deter you, but just be prepared for a typical sicilian off road experience (it only takes 2min to climb).

The staff were incredible, especially Francesco and Tancredi (“the great”)! plenty of food and great views. A-special thanks to Alfredo and Kelly who transferred me to and from the Villa to the local train station.

Beautiful big appartment in an old house, located in middle of nature, with a splendid view on the distant sea. Good restaurant and friendly staff. Pool and sitting area around it are excellent.

The appartment is in need of a thorough renovation. Basically it is very beautiful, but almost everything was broken.

This is a real gem in the mountains up a steeply-inclined tar/dirt road. Tip: you'll need a powerful car to get up the slope. The views, food, pool and staff made this a really enjoyable experience. The manager especially was a very pleasant young man, and he really took good care of us, making sure that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We went in the height of summer and the room we were given was very hot. There was no A/C, the fan was useless and opening the balcony door did not make any difference. We were unable to sleep due to the stifling conditions. The manager upon hearing our experience the next morning, moved us to another room with an A/C, that had just become vacant. That was nice and cool and we were able to sleep peacefully the rest of the nights during our stay.

Nice and peaceful place, very calm with exceptionally friendly owners. Food was great during dinner and breakfast. The view to the sea and mountains are amazing.

We absolutely loved this place! The facilities are very nice, comfortable and clean. Our room was big and we had a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Make sure not to miss the dinner, local specialities and super tasty!

The place was very nice with wonderful views and very friendy staff. It's great to sit and relax in the terrace. The room was large although it had a weird distribution.

I think we probably got the worst room in the property facing the back and with no views at all. It'd be nice to have common areas to relax under cover as when we arrived was rainning and we had to stay in our room were the internet was very bad.
