Loved the house (it dates from the 1770's and has been sympathetically renovated), loved our spacious room and ensuite, loved that there were common areas both inside and out that we felt comfortable to use. This included a basic kitchenette with crockery and cutlery where we were able to prepare our own dinner. Hostess was friendly and helpful and made us the BEST-EVER breakfast. Amazing value. Overall, a really good experience.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow but being it in the county that's to be expected.

The grounds are beautiful, the walk is peaceful, the amenities plentiful and clean. Breakfast was lovely and Ann was a really pleasant person.

beautiful clean home, Anne is a great host! even if you’re checking in later she will offer help with food. room was big, warm with a huge and comfy bed. breakfast was incredibly delicious, the best Full Irish we found during our stay in Ireland. Staff is nice and welcoming. the propriety is beautiful and you are able to walk around the country to see a bit of the views.

Wonderful cottage, cozy rooms and an outstanding breakfast.

This was our 3rd time staying at Cartron House and myself and my partner just love it. It's spotless, very cosy and the host Ann is very accommodating. Breakfast is excellent.

Friendly helpful beautiful house

Everything was good

Anne was a very welcoming host and made sure that we were comfortable. There is a common room with books, a television and table for games, which was nice to relax in. Breakfast was delicious, and large! Anne also suggested Walsh's in Woodford for dinner which turned out to be a wonderful traditional Irish pub. Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect place to stay. It a pity we only stay for 1 night and came very late. Really recommend. Wonderful breakfast - omlette with every think you want and other choices as well. Very big room and King size. Beautiful Garden!

What a lovely place to stay!! Ann was a wonderful host. The bed was so very comfortable, the facilities great, we were well looked after. Breakfast was amazing. Anns recommation for dinner was spot on. Highly recommend.
