Super super nice stuff ! Perfect location and close to the sea.

Very nice and maintained hostel in old town center, big nice kitchen and two lovely terraces. Also they had cold water/ice and double room size was very good + good AC helps a lot.

Sadly my room had no city view, shower and bed not great

The location is very central. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities are really good. The use of the kitchen on the third floor was a great bonus.

The towels should be more fragrant. That was my only minus point.

The café/pub downstairs is very noisy in the evenings, they also often show football matches. Loud TV. I knew the jingles of the TV stations by heart after a couple of nights… Bad smell from the bathroom/toilet, there seems to be a problem with plumbing. No breakfast, as opposed to what in the welcome folder in the room. Not a very social place, not well-suited for solo travelers. But then, I was traveling out of season, and Olhão doesn’t attract lots of backpackers in general.

Paula is fantastic, the building is spacious, beautiful terraces, well equipped kitchen, everything was so clean and comfortable, I cannot recommend this place enough and at an affordable price as well. I hope they always have good business and wish nothing but the best for them

This is the most wonderful hostel… i haven’t stayed in a hostel for many years, and i was a bit nervous… i didn’t want a noisy party vibe but i didn’t want to spend a lot either so i took a risk. I was so happy here. The owners are so thoughtful and attentive, and the guests are tranquil and respectful. My room was extremely comfortable with multiple surfaces and storages spaces including a wardobe, and there was a balcony. The kitchen was huge and great as I love to shop locally and cook when I travel. The location is perfect because you are connected to eveything (it’s very central) but you have great local spots all around. The cafe directly downstairs a great place too- I recommend it as well. The hostel rooftop is also such a wonderful place to relax with lovely views- perfect for when you’re feeling a bit fatigued from your travels. This was such a lovely experience with not a single complaint!!

No breakfast on offer. ( as expected) V good location, good sized room with v good shower/ bathroom, and liked having a balcony overlooking a pretty cobbled area. The staff were very obliging indeed. The kitchen /dining room was absolutely brilliant- you could’ve cooked a 5 course banquet in there! The 2 roof terraces with sun beds and comfy chairs are really lovely.

Sometimes it was noisy in the street below, but that’s Portugal for you, and there was a bar below, but generally not open in the evening. Not all stairways were adequately lit, made it a bit difficult for me esp going down.

Outstanding location & facilities, loved the roof top terraces, kitchen and living room areas. Our host was excellent and our room was exceptionally clean.

What would make it a 10 would be a more comfortable bed.

Location is very good, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the roof terrace is nice.

No reception, so you have to let them know when you arrive. If you arrive before 15, is not guaranteed that there will be someone there. Noise from the bar downstairs (not part of the hostel). In the "instructions book" in the room there was a mention of breakfast with free coffee, but I went to the kitchen during the time indicated and didn't find anything, the coffee machine was shut down.

- Great location, right in the city center. 5 min walk from the fish market and many restaurants - Kind and helpful staff - Clean and well-equiped kitchen - Amazing rooftop view - and the stork was there indeed :)

- We could hear the café-bar downstairs (just below our window) in the evening, but it didn't close too late so wasn't really a problem.

This was not communicated prior to my arrival so I was outside waiting and trying to get inside.

Lovely room with balcony on first floor, with ensuite. Impressed with hooks to hang things, number of sockets, and handy desk for my laptop. Fantastic views from top terrace and great kitchen (though we didn't use it). Balcony looks out on gorgeous little square and across to a stork's nest on church opposite - that actually had a stork on it in early morning. Location also very convenient for everything and a good café on ground floor, who were happy to do us a meal quite late on.

Although I knew the booking said no meal plan, booklet in room said there was breakfast in kitchen, so a little disappointed that wasn´t the case ) my fault, though. I guess.

was crowded even thought we were only 2 in room of 4, the bunk beds are set in a weird way. you can’t use the bathroom on your floor past 21/22 pm which is odd. the owners sleep in the second floor behind a curtain, you can hear everything, they watch TV loudly. finally, nobody spoke English, we thought it was near the beach but there was only marine and the parking they claim they have is public outside the hostel.

Very good location in the center of Olhão, yet quiet at night! Everything is easy to reach by foot. AWESOME!!! roof top terrace! Such a cozy place to be! Enjoyed it very much. Large kitchen, everything clean and very friendly owner!!!
