We truly loved our stay at Casa Diva. Rooms are comfy and big, the bedrooms with views are stunning. We really appreciated the friendly staff and we really enjoyed taking advantage of the roof terrace. Parking was really nearby, much closer to Casa Diva than we expected.

The service we received from Eleonora at Casa Diva was faultless. She was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about Matera (where to park, eat, what to see etc.). As for the property…..Simply stunning! The reception and dining rooms are beautifully decorated. When we entered our cave (the uva suite) it was beyond amazing. Imagine Fred Flintstone won the lottery. Carved out of the rock, the huge room has high ceilings, tasteful decor, two comfortable double beds (in separate areas), and fabulous clean and modern bathroom. There’s even a mini ‘en-suite’ cave with a Jucuzzi bath. Another door leads to a large characterful terrace (shared with one other suite). The town of Matera should be on every bucket list, and is as friendly as it is unique. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend a stay at Casa Diva.

Really clean rooms! Very cool cave experience. The history of this city is incredible. Breakfast was delicious, fresh pastries and a great way to meet other guests. Staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location and a beautiful villa with a nice view over the Sassi. Staff was super friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable. And a royal breakfast to start the morning, the best we had on our vacation. An absolute must!

Casa Diva was so unique and beautifully rennovated. The bed was so comfortable and we loved the uniqueness of our room. We loved the little balcony off the dining room and the rooftop patio - the views are amazing!! We enjoyed our wine and snacks up there! The rooms were spotless. And the best location - so central to everything. We loved Casa Diva!!!

Beautiful boutique hotel located in the old town of Matera, at a walking distance from everything. Wonderful grandiose decoration at the lobby (the balcony has a great view of the sassi). Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Rich breakfast with wide offer of very good quality options.

The view! The suite is really a unique room with the 4 big windows overlooking the city and the valley. Sunrise is gorgeous. Also a nice terrace for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. And the breakfast is very good with local products. Eleonora and Caterina were absolutely great hosts.

The suite was pretty low at some points, no problem for us, but I guess you might have more problems when you're tall.

The place was really fantastic , in the historic center of Matera. The living room and the suite room boast an amazing view on the town. From Casa Diva everything you need to see is walking distance. The breakfast was absolutely delicious :fruits,cereals,yougurt and a heap of croissants. Mrs Caterina and mrs Eleonora took care of us and gave us precious pieces of advice about what to visit and where to go for dinner. We had a look at all of the rooms. Each with its peculiar style. The suite in particular has a breathtaking view on the Sassi just in front of the bed! There is also an apartement , that can host 5 people, with a jacuzzi in a small grotto.

Casa Diva is just a few steps from the Sassi di Matera. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and very clean. Eleonora is a great host and helped everywhere she could, and Caterina always prepared a great breakfast! The beautiful terrace is great to have a drink and overlooks Matera. I liked it so much, I would definitely return, what a great stay!!!

Fantastic location - lovely rooftop - room with a view !

We were too clumsy for the room - it has many steps so you can enjoy the view but the combination of that and an angled ceiling meant quite a few bruises !
