Last night we had the need to stay in Dandenong for the night and chose the newly opened Holiday Inn Hotel, just opposite the entrance to The Hub shopping Centre. We had stayed at this spot many times before when it was the Ramada Encore but hadn't been to Dandenong to stay very much because of Covid. The Holiday Inn has been open only a few short weeks and it is really lovely. When we checked in the staff was warm and friendly. Couldn't be more pleasant and did everything in their power to be accommodating. Paul was on the front desk and was very welcoming. We picked up our keys and off we went to our room. The rooms are lovely and have everything you need. The entire building has been altered and renovated and everything is new. The rooms are lovely and have everything you need. Car parking is undercover and included in the price of the room; as is a more than ample breakfast including cereal, fruits, yoghurts, juices, cold meats and anti pasta vegetables as well as cooked buffet items. All included in the price of $160. for the night. The dinner menu was varied and the food I had was delicious. Thank you to Liv for the very special care last night at dinner and again this morning at breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and we will return again very soon. Thankyou Paul, Liv and Sam. You made our stay special

From first communications after booking, to the easy check out, our experience was absolutely exceptional. We stayed in a twin double bed room that was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the team. They were awesome Liv, Don and Mohan were easy stand out awesome. They deserve a huge shout out. Thank you. My Dad rarely travels, and you made his stay in Melbourne one he will rave about for a long time. We look forward to coming back and staying again soon.

Staff and room were excellent; the lovely surprise was the restaurant and bar. I was travelling on my own for work but the barman made me feel really welcome and the menu and wine list were great - food was also lovely.
I will definitely make this my place to stay next time.

View and area was a little rough.
We had dinner in the restaurant. There was only 2 other people in the restaurant but we had to go up and order our dessert as there was no staff anywhere to take our order.

Clean, fresh, friendly. Staff were extraordinary. I have stayed in some fancy hotels around the world and I was not expecting to get the kind of service I received in downtown Dandenong! Literally 5 Star feel. Well done ALL!

Fantastic service! Fantastic room! Fantastic Stay! They met all our needs with the cot we required. Everything was very clean. Customer service and room service beyond impeccable! We will 100% be using this as our regular accommodation now.

Staff very helpful and friendly and attentive.
Couldn't get a hot chocolate at 8.30pm as staff had already cleaned the machine.
They offered us a alcoholic drink.
But I don't drink alcohol.
Also a towel was already stained and dirty.
Lucky there was enough towels to use Instead.
There is no light in the middle of room ,only at the entry and above the bed.ì

The wifi connection was unstable and would drop out constantly.
Unfortunately the room next to me left their tv on loud volume until 3am and kept me awake. Not sure if the walls are very thin or that person had their tv exceptionally loud. I did not contact reception though as i wasn’t sure if anything could be done, so not the fault of the hotel

The customer service was exceptional. Great, friendly staff from check in to check out.
The hotel was fresh, stylish and contemporary with comfortable furnishings. Perfect room size for one night and good price. Central to everything with shopping across the road. Later checkout was useful after a late night.
