The timing of breakfast was too late if you’re working, so essentially paid for breakfast that didn’t have on either morning. No take-away options either.

Hotel was spotless and the staff (especially the restaurant staff) were super friendly and helpful. Plenty of nearby parking at a reasonable price.

The constant banging of the fire doors in the corridor drove me insane and the noise from the bars in the street was unbearable and was going until past 3am. If you closed a window it deadened it slightly but then was super hot. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep.

What a great hotel, we wanted a cheap night away, close to Weymouth Harbour while meeting up with friends for the evening, and it was above our expectations, quiet room at the back, great to have soap instead of shower gel in plastic containers, basic but for the price you can't beat it, we will be back though I doubt in high season as it might not feel the same. The breakfast room has a slightly "Faulty Towers" experience with wonderful elderly staff helping out, breakfast basic but it only cost £3pp on top of our booking at the time and with a slight hangover it was appreciated.

Street cleaner at 6am but to the fault of the hotel.

The hotel was easy to find and centrally placed for what we needed. The staff at Reception were really helpful. The general areas of the hotel were clean and tidy and well maintained. There was a spacious guest lounge which we didn't use as we were only there for one night, but I think we would have taken advantage of that if staying for longer. I shared a twin room with a friend, and whilst it was on the small side, it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The shower room was clean and spacious with a good shower. The breakfast was excellent. There were plenty of staff to help serve breakfast, the tea/coffee and food was brought out quickly, and the staff responded quickly for extra hot water etc for tea. We would definitely stay again if we were in Weymouth - many thanks!

The twin room was on the small side, but not really an issue for us.

the restaurant food left a lot to be desired, breakfast was fine albeit somewhat chaotic but there were 2 coach parties staying at the same time as us.

The location is excellent, friendly, and very helpful throughout the stay. Comfortable bed. There is plenty of tea and coffee in the room.

The room was comfy and clean, perfect size for just myself. the staff were all lovely and smiley and always wished me a good morning, they made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my stay.

Lovely nice fresh food, breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked, evening meal the same. Nice friendly staff, nice room, overall a very pleasant stay

Only downside was the excessive heat.. our room was ridiculously hot, the heat in the entertainment bar was also ridiculous.. so no need for it in spring .. breading ground for germs

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the rising bridge, town centre and pubs & clubs galore. The hotel rooms are always fun to find whether you use the lift or use the rickety old floorboarded stairs and passage ways, and to me they are always a good standard & clean. Breakfasts are not huge but you can always ask for more, & the quality is good as is the excellent afternoon & evening meals. The staff are always helpful & Happy from reception to the room service, but that seems to be what the people of Weymouth are like generally.
