Quiet home in a country setting. It's was very quiet and peaceful. It was about a 25 minute drive to Bardstown. Plenty of room for all of us to enjoy!!!

The location was central to distilleries in Bardstown and Frankfort. Cooked several meals at the house. The beds were comfortable.
Only item to mention is one of the bathrooms is a half bath without a tub or shower. The VRBO lists a tub or shower in each bathroom.

Property was as advertised. Clean and stocked with everything we needed. We spent Thursday at the golf tournament in Louisville. Friday was bourbon trail day. Saturday we ended up at Lover’s Leap winery which was awesome.

We had a fun weekend on the Bourbon Trail. The house had everything we needed. Really nice fire pit. Great pool table and game system. We were expecting a 3 full bathrooms. We do wish the door was unlocked between the two bathrooms but it all worked out perfect. The beds were comfy.

We had 4 couples staying at the house. Roomy for the 8 of us! It was a quiiet setting not far from Bardstown & the places we visited. We enjoyed the pool table for some entertainment. Overall, a very good experience!

Beautiful property and was big enough to accommodate 5 couples. The 2 kitchen areas were convenient and we loved playing pool and games.

Everything about this house was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable, wood was provided for the firepit - those pesky spice you don't want to buy for just a weekend - they were there... We cooked for 10+ people twice - and had enough bakeware, silverware, dishes to make this work.... There are horses on the property next door and they were friendly. It was a great gathering place. The only thing that took us by surprise was the bathroom situation - the listing mentioned 3 full baths when in reality there was 1 full bath downstairs (3 bedrooms) and a 1/2 bath upstairs, plus the master suite upstairs had a full bathroom with 2 showers - so technically they had three bathrooms but in reality - people had to walk through the master bedroom to access a shower. For 4 couples that do not know each other well - this was a bit awkward - one of the couples decided not to stay at the property and ended up in town. SO perfect for groups that are comfortable sharing bathrooms.

This property far exceeded any of our expectations! The owners were very easy to communicate with and extended us superb hospitality! The place was inviting, warm and private; which for our group was a must. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to use it again.

Some friends and I stayed here so we could attend the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown. The communication with the property owner was beyond a 5 star rating. The property was clean and supplied with everything we needed. The location was a perfect launch point to explore the Bourbon Trail and attend the KBF. Hoping to make this an annual trip and this will be our first choice of places to stay.
If you are looking for a great spot to relax in-between visiting distilleries and get a good night sleep, this place is for you.

We had 10 adults staying overnight and 19 total people for a fun family BBQ. It's great to be able to get family in 1 place when they come from 7 different cities in 5 different states.

House was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty of space to relax and get ready for our daily adventures. Located in the middle of the bourbon trail we had short drives in each direction to visit different distilleries. The house was perfect for our week long stay

What a great place. We had a large group of 10 friends that wanted the chill together after touring distilleries, breweries and taking the Old Kentucky Dinner Train and boy did we choose a wonderful place. Located just north of Bardstown, the lovely home was the perfect place to relax. Located pretty near most of the places we wanted to visit and five bedrooms and 3 baths, two kitchens, two living rooms and a great deck and patio - we were set! I would certainly recommend the property for your Kentucky Bourbon Trail trip! Thanks ladies!

We really enjoyed our stay. Vicki and her husband were so nice and accomodating. We had an extra need for our friend that is handicap and Vicki and her husband were very prompt in helping us out. The house and the property are absolutely gorgeous! Our favorite part of the day was sitting on the wonderful porches in the morning with coffee listening/watching the birds, horses, chipmunks, and turkeys. 😇🥰

Great weekend with friends in large spacious house. Appreciated the size, the grounds, and the supplies of everything needed. Nothing lacking and more than enough room for everyone to have space. Very responsive when we had a need. We would definitely choose this house again.

We are originally from Wisconsin. Some of us have migrated and settled here in Kentucky. We try to get together at least one time a year. Siblings and our respective spouses and our children all under one roof for the holidays is a tradition we want to pass on. It gets harder and harder to find space for this and your homestead was perfect. Your flexibility with check in for part of my group and the quick responses to any questions was amazing. Thank you.

We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday with three other couples in this house for a weekend Bourbon trail experience. This house was perfect for our group and met all our needs. The house was very clean and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the pool table and space in the basement. Wish the weather had been warmer as it had a great outdoor space as well. Only challenge was finding the house the first night in the dark. Thankfully there was a very kind neighbor who directed me to the correct driveway. There were signs but we did not see them in the dark. Took about 30 minutes to drive to downtown Bardstown from the house but was an easy drive.

Our group of 5 couples had a most enjoyable experience using the homestead as a base as we visited several bourbon distilleries and the Breeder's Cup. The house is huge and the grounds are beautiful and overlook a pasture with two very friendly horses who came to visit often. We had planned to go to dinner most nights but ended up making dinner every night in the two well equipped kitchens. Our hosts were very welcoming and we had no issues during our stay. We would definitely return.

We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a family of 8 and had plenty of room. Loved sitting on the front porch and seeing the wildlife and horses. Will definitely rent again if we need a home close to Bardstown!

I am a t1 para who uses a power wheelchair.
The house was very open and easy to move around, plenty of room for parking. Shower in the master was great. I use a shower chair and the master toilet is raised which made it so I could not back over it but it is great for someone with partial mobility.
The beds are high so transfers for me we tough but again it may make it easier for others.
I had to go outside to get to the basement but it was very easy to do… basement is also very easy to get around in and the pool table is usable from the chair. Great views, great outdoor space

We were 3 couples going to Bourbon Fest for the first time.Your property was beautiful. We ate breakfast and dinner there every night. We enjoyed the grill, fire pit and many games of corn hole and pool. So peaceful in the morning having coffee on deck and watching horses. Perfect set up and perfect location. We will be back. This is a wonderful house for our group of 5 couples to stay at when we are attending a Kentucky JCI Senate event that is held near Bardstown every year. We always have a great time and having this house to stay at and have some fun with just our 5 couples is also a great addition.

The space was a great place for getting together with six adults and two teenagers. The upstairs room was great for sitting and talking as well as the table for eight worked very well. The downstairs space was conducive to watching TV puzzles games and pool. Good outdoor space also with much seating. The downside was that the impression was there were three bathrooms when affectively there were only 2. There was one downstairs for three bedrooms and one upstairs for two bedrooms. The master suite had two showers in it so it does not count as three. Also one of the bedrooms did not qualify as a bedroom as it did not have a closet and it did not have a dresser or bureau but only two nightstands. Given this we still had a good time.

Perfect Property, Perfect Location
My wife and I took her father for his 94th birthday to sample some of his favorite beverage on the Bourbon Trail. This house is so nice and comfortable, immaculately maintained; it was a treat to return to each night to unwind and cook dinner. The PacMan machine isn’t there anymore, but the pool table is awesome. It’s perfectly located for exploring the distilleries; the Louisville area is about an hour away, the Lexington area is about 45 minutes, and Bardstown is less than a half-hour. We had a great time, amplified by how nice and spacious this house is. Be sure to bring some extra apples or carrots to feed the horses!

Hitting the Bourban Trail
Our group consisted of longtime friends and spouses all over 60, seven adults total. We chose this home for its location to the distilleries we wanted to visit. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is huge and well stocked with anything you need to make meals, and we never bumped into one another. We didn't use the downstairs kitchen but could have if needed.
We spent most of our evenings on the back porch enjoying the view. There were plenty of chairs and tables to make it comfortable. The neighbors have a couple of horses and there was the typical wildlife around.
Grounds are well kept and so is the home.
Parking available in a carport for two vehicles and plenty of driveway for more.
Everyone agreed if we do return for some additional visits this would be the place we would rent again.

Quiet and peaceful place
It was a wonderful, clean house with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Wi-fi excellent. Main bathroom exceptional. One bed was a little uncomfortable. We were with 4 couples and we all said we would stay here again.

Family Reunion Retreat
Spacious home with two well stocked kitchens. Two patios, upper & lower, plus large front porch for seating. Saw lots of birds, gold finch, bluebird, robins, blue jays, pilleated woodpecker, and other miscellaneous birds! Great place to gather and relax with family! (Could have used one more bathroom, but did fine with the 2 & 1/2)
