Very nice place! Easy access and good location in the city centre.

The hob was broken so we couldn’t cook as planned but otherwise great!

The location was perfect. Right in the centre of the town and round the corner from the cathedral with plenty of restaurants, bakeries and bars all within a 10 minute walk radius. The apartment was very warm which was really nice and felt very cozy. The shower was good and the beds were very comfortable. The sofa bed in the sitting room was also very easy to set up and comfortable.

The place missed essentials like a toaster and could do with a bigger matt at the entrance for boots when walking in from the snow. There was no boot rack nor big enough matt and consequently there was water on the floor from the boots.There was a washing machine though. The kichen was very basic and bathroom could do with modernising. The light in the mirror did not work.

Location is excellent.

Bathroom is small. Washing machine extremely noisy. No doubt it woke people in the other apartments No dryer or microwave.

The location is best. There's a street within 30 meters with cute shops and restaurants.

It's rather small. But I guess that's Reykjavik's standard.

Great location, clean comfortable apartment. Well furnished tastefully and nice kitchen facilities available. Responsive staff. Could not ask for more, highly recommended. Walking distance to Hallgrimskirkja church and all the main sightseeing streets of Reykjavík.

Amazing location in the heart of the city.

The location is really incredible and by far the main draw . Entry was easy. On street parking wasn't a problem. Appliances were mainly in good shape.

There were several things that needed improvement. There was no light in our main living area and it seemed like it may have been missing for repair or something like that. In messaging the property they told me they would come in and fix it several times but never did. They also didn't supply some basics in the kitchen like a roll of paper towels, shampoo/soap in the bathroom. They had a couple of extra pillows but with no pillow cases and one was sitting on a very dirty top of the closet so it was unusable. The place had very thin walls as well so we could hear neighbors very clearly talking.

perfect location. Easy access and in and out. loved how it was decorated and the bed was quite comfy!

everything was great!! a couple small notes for what worth- took us tries to understand what coffee to buy. we aren’t from Iceland so weren’t familiar with the pods. also needed a knife and fork and didn’t see silverware so went out to store to get wooden one.

The location was perfect, so central yet quiet. Very comfortable warm and cosy apartment with extremely attentive host. Great to relax in after a busy day sightseeing,

Some hooks on the doors for hanging up bathrobes would be good and some extra pillows.

Central location, owner’s helpful attitude who we met coincidentally while struggling to locate the apartment, the extra couple of hours to help us towards the end.

The property has a great potential but a few fundamental and critical short comings. 1. advertised and booked for 4, yet had pots, plates and mugs for 2. 2. poorly lit, particularly the living area which also had the sofa bed. 3. broken shower - couldn’t keep it above our heads as the latch had cracked. 4. a coffee machine but no coffee pods, no sugar, salt or tea, no kitchen roll to clean the tops and generally a poorly furnished kitchen- we found these basic provisions in all others apartments during our stay in Iceland. 5. worn out pillows and duvets - these were replaced with marginally better ones upon our request. Over all, the management needs to cater for the finer and critical details that will make Baldur a much more compelling, comfortable and a nicer short or long stay experience.

Very nice apartment with modern interior and kitchen, wifi and laundry room (for all apartments). Perfect central location, close to hallgrimskirkja, inner city, bus stop etc. Host was always available when questions came up.

Kitchen could be equiped better, very basic. Some manuals for dishwasher and mikrowave would also be nice.

Good contact with the owner before leaving. Superb location in the center, but off the main streets. Clear instructions on how to get there. Very clean. Comfortable beds and good linens. A less comfortable sofa when two people sleep. Effective heating. Well-equipped kitchen. Quick response of the staff to the night call. Free parking possible, if you try hard.

Size, location, value, laundry machine

The bedroom walls and ceiling had obvious mold on the surface in the bedroom. The room is on the lower level so mold must be chronic. Serious health concern here. Will not be staying here again. They will need to do serious mold remediation and correct water intrusion issue. Painting over mold isn't a solution.

The location was amazing! Very close to shops, restaurants, and Hallgrimskirkja. The staff responded to my inquiries promptly and the apartment itself was so comfortable with a great bed, table, sofa, and kitchenette.

We struggled with the appliances a bit. The laundry wasn't hooked up to the plumbing, so was unusable, and some instructions for the cook top would have been useful. Also note that the building has recently been painted dark purple, so it doesn't look like the pictures anymore!

Hard to make completely dark at night but overall fine

The location was exceptional. Facilities are clean, new and modern.

Excellent location near the church and proximate to bakeries, restaurants and the harbor. Easy access and clean, modern apartment. Would definitely stay there again.
