Great location and amenities! We had a toddler with us, and she loved that she could walk a few feet to swim in the pool while seeing the ocean. Size of the space was great for me, my husband and daughter. Everything was clean and the host provided towels (including pool towels), a few beach floats, and drying rack on balcony for wet clothes that was very nice. Balcony chairs and table were a big hit for relaxing and eating outside when the sun was at its peak. Parking on premises was very convenient. Close to things while being a bit away from the crowd.

This unit is definitely not as upgraded (furniture/appliances etc) as some of the others we saw in passing, but things were functional. Priced a bit higher than some of the upgraded units, but those tend to go fast.

This is a nice unit in a nice complex. You are out of the busy section of town so it’s quiet and the pools are great, especially the salt water pool overlooking the ocean! The condo had everything we needed, nicely stocked kitchen, great lanai, and the a/c came in handy!

What breakfast?

The location of the unit didn’t matched as advertised. We barely see the ocean from our unit. The bed metal frame squeaks when I move. It needs a nicer sturdy frame.

Location near Kona and well kept quality of the grounds. Well secured perimeter fence. Two swimming pools, one right next to ocean. Well organized trash disposal and recycling system. Friendly renters/owners and staff. Refrigerator and dishwasher worked okay.

The unit was like a cheap third-world motel. Three of the kitchen cupboards were filled with cans of pant, tools and spare parts for the lighting system that did not work. The utensil drawer was jammed with useless knives, duplicate spoons and spatulas etc. The cookware was old and worn out; handles on the fry pans were loose and teflon coating flacking off. The top of the refrigerator had not been cleaned so the grease and dirt needed to be scraped off it. All the furnishing in the unit were made of cheap bamboo. There were no drawers in the bathroom. The space under the dual sinks was jammed with empty and partially used bottles of various cleaning products so storing our dopp kits required disposing of them. Shower head could not be adjusted to keep water from only spraying on one’s face. There is no ceiling fan. The AC system was weak and barely effective. The AC and filters had not been cleaned causing allergies to flair. There is only one bedside stand. The sheets and pillows on the bed were long past due for replacement. Drawers on the cloths bureau were difficult to open and close. The bedroom closet was jammed full with surf boards, extra couch cushions and an old uncovered disintegrating foam pad so hanging cloths was impossible. The upper part of closet was jammed with an ironing board and old cloths so could not be used. The lock on sliding door to the balcony had a broken screw so getting it locked took extra effort. There were no instruction on how to use the television and video player. The handle on on front screen door is broken so it won’t stay shut. The unit has not been tended to for a long time and the owner is still demanding prime rental rates. I’m surprised and very disappointed that Booking has not caught on to this ripoff.

When I checked in at 7 at night the room was not ready it was very dirty when I called owner she laugh an said it was cleaned already there was poop still in toilet bed was dirty no towels
