Location-wise the room was everything we could have hoped for. Literally on the beach, with ocean sunsets nightly. The kitchen and living area were very clean, and the wifi worked well. Bed was great. One of the two staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, and when we had an issue that we noticed when we arrived, it was cleared up quickly. Nice pool/hot tub/grill area, and located just far enough from the action to be quiet at night.

The biggest problem was the bedroom A/C blowing...something into the room. Long hair-like stringy bits would appear, hanging from the ceiling fan, and our last night there, my girlfriend had a full-blown asthma attack and slept on the couch with the patio door open. I've come to have a saying at Hawaii rental condo properties: "Don't look up, don't look down," and it was very applicable here. While very clean in the obvious spots, mold was visible at the tops of doors, bottom of the shower door, etc. This was a ground-floor unit with no sun ever reaching the entrance side, which probably contributed, but it seemed like the cleaning staff should spend bit more time wiping above-head-level surfaces and crevices a bit more. Finally, there was the matter of surprise fees (that we apparently managed to avoid somehow, but we were given an earful about how we should have paid a "utilities fee"). Then we signed a multipage agreement...but didn't get a copy. As I mentioned, there was one manager who was very personable and helpful, but the other seemed a bit less...engaged.

The location was spectacular!

Wifi and phone service was basically non existent inside the unit due to the concrete walls that makes up the interior.

1.Ocean was close by, pool, jacuzzi with grill very nice and Clean. 2.Outstanding location staff and property. 3. Offsite check in and unit access no contact over the phone text and email awesome love it!

1. Cleaning fee discrepancy although I paid in full prior to stay as indicated staff insisted cleaning fee was not charged and charge me again. booking.com its great and taking care of it. 2.Security lacks presence needs more customer interaction and foot patrol. Unit appeared clean but still needed to mop since I am a local and do not wear my shoes indoors.

Location was perfect close enough to walk just about anywhere with plenty of shops and restaurants.

The place could use a makeover it was old looking with outdated furniture and they had a bug/pest problem. We were forced to leave in the morning due to them having someone fumigate. We had dead bugs in the apartment it was gross.

Loved the location, very walkable. Nice unit right on the ocean.

Older units, but world class location

Location adjacent to Hon’l beach. Good parking. Short walk to local residents. Nice pool and ample bbqs that are cleaned daily.

Minor quibble: unit sparsely furnished with cooking utensils.

Excellent location right by the water, with a nice pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ area. Keyless check in was nice, and the parking was free and sufficiently sized. We had a great view of the ocean right out our front window and had great interactions with the staff. Lia was very welcoming and the housekeepers even saved a bag of clothes that we accidentally left in the room when we checked out.

There's no sidewalk for the walk into town, which can be uncomfortable in the evenings. Also no restaurant on site, but there are plenty of options relatively close by.

Love the central location to Kona ocean views the swimming pool and spa were great and the close proximity to public beach right next door! For that aspect alone I would give it a 10 on location and facility! It's only downfall was covid-19. Linens and no cleaning ability 4 the visitors in the rooms no vacuums.

No Linens for 2 weeks no vacuum in unit to clean floors only one beat up old broom and a broken dustpan
