We liked the location and the outlook from the apartment was pretty with plenty of birds and even a deer. The area around the property is scenic and there are plenty of places to visit within easy reach.
We were surprised and disappointed to find that the accommodation is a studio with everything in one room with a small, separate shower room. We also had to go upstairs as the studio is above a double garage - this may be difficult for some guests. Really the accommodation is just a space above the garage; the roof is sloping which we found difficult, particularly in the shower room, as we are both quite tall. The towels available were rigid and scratchy, also very thin. We were put off by the rather officious notes taped on furniture etc giving various instructions about what not to do. It made us feel a little unwelcome. The toaster, for example, was in a drawer, so we felt as if it was preferred that we didn't use it. The bed is quite hard and quite old, likewise the sofa all of which we felt smelt rather stale.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything to make our 3 night break comfortable. It was such a practical space which made for easy living.
The setting of the barn is beautiful and the local pub is less than a 10 minute walk away. We were visiting relatives on the Broads so Stokesby was a perfect location for us.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Dragonfly Barn Apartment.

Beautiful location
Apartment is superb. Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Peaceful. Nature all around. Close to The Broads and coast. 20 mins by car to Norwich Centre. Loved everything about it.

Very clean and well appointed accommodation. Tea, coffee, milk ,sugar etc in apartment on arrival as were all crockery, pans, eating, drinking and cooking utensils.Welcome pack with all local information.Judy very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The barn is top class with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay.
Judy is a lovely host and was very welcoming.
If you want peace and quiet this is the place to come to.

This rural location is totally peaceful, looking out over fields without a dwelling in sight!
It was ideally close to both Yarmouth and the Norfolk broads, plus other attractions which were all listed comprehensively in the information folder provided.
Our hosts were very helpful without being intrusive, and every endeavour was made to maximise the comfort of our stay
We would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to de-stress and reinvigorate
Decorated with a pallet of soothing greens/neutrals it was spotlessly clean throughout.
Also, the bed is the comfiest ever ☺

Judy met us in the drive and showed us to the property. She explained everything we needed to know and said if we had any problems just ring her doorbell. For the first time in a property we couldn't find any cleaning products, when we asked Judy where they were she said. Your on holiday that's my job to clean up.
Footnote:- If you go to this area try out the Acle steak bar we had a pleasant evening here with a wonderful steak

The location was beautiful. Easy to find and easy instructions from landlord. The barn was cosy, with a lovely view out into the garden and surroundings. The barn had everything we needed and more, everything was thought about including the tea and coffee etc. Which is always lovely for when you arrive.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. We even saw the resident hare on our first evening there. For self-catering it had everything we needed. Location was good to get around by car, suggested sights and activities were good. We really enjoyed Broads Bike Trail. We also did Elizabethan House Museum in Great Yarmouth which was very interesting. It was nice coming back to a comfy and relaxing place at the end of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away.

The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, modern and quiet. It had everything we needed - a 'home from home'.
The induction hob, oven and microwave were high tech so it was tricky understanding how to work them. We only cooked once so it wasn't a problem. However the microwave was part of the oven and the metal trays had to be taken out first before using. A separate microwave would have made things a lot easier. (Accommodation probably would not suit anyone with mobility problems because of the stairs).

Apartment was immaculate. Well thought out and beautifully presented. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe and would recommend it.
Inventory said toiletries provided. Expected more than just soap/shower gel. Not a problem as I had brought my own things anyhow.

Fantastic views across countryside, very pleasant surroundings and our host was very welcoming and friendly.
Would definitely book this apartment again and recommend it whole heartedly.
Looking forward to a return visit in the spring.

We loved the location it was so central for us to see the norfolk broads location by bike. There was a lovely pub located nearby in stokesby next to the river and the food was good. Our apartment was Great and had everything we required with a lovely out side area to relax in. The host was lovely and friendly and made us really welcome. We were offered secure parking in the garage for our bikes which was great.

The apartment was self contained, no need for us to have close contact with other people around. Everything appeared to have been thought of, although we didn't make full use of the kitchen and its equipment. There was just a nice feel about the place.
My only problem was the stairs. Although I am used to stairs in our own home, these to the apartment were quite steep, with a 90 degree turn close to the bottom. Being older, with two replacement knees, I had to be very careful

Comfortable, well appointed studio flat in rural location. Watched giant hares playing in the garden. Judy, our hostess was very friendly. Easy access to the Broads and close to Acle. Recommended.

It was blissful — peace and quiet in a rural location, but with a pub and village shop within walking distance. Plenty of space so that, even though it is effectively a bedsit, it did not feel at all cramped. And the fragrant garden outside the door and window was a bonus!

Lovely bright, clean peaceful apartment, a perfect size for two people. Judy the host was fabulous, she provided lots of excellent tips and recommendations for the area, all of which were spot on. Location is perfectly situated for outings on the broads (can highlighly recommend Ranworth) & only 16 miles to Norwich. We spotted deer, hares and Guinea fowls all within the grounds. Magical...
