The breakfast was absolutely delicious and so thoughtfully presented. I love the decor in the annex, the quite garden view and the general peacefulness of the countryside surroundings. The hosts were so kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend staying here for a break. I was alone but it is very spacious and would be very suitable for a couple.

There is nothing at all to complain about.

This was great. In a quiet village setting. Great space and good facilities.

Nothing, but if we had stayed longer we might have wanted an oven or hob which it didn’t have.

We were given a lovely warm welcome & there was great attention to detail in making our stay relaxing & enjoyable. Good facilities which were spotlessly clean, a comfortable bed & a generous, quality breakfast provided.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect little getaway. The view from the room was amazing and the breakfast delivered to the door each morning was just the cherry on top. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic cottage, The owners were lovely. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast was Continental but delicious. There was plenty of it. It was delivered each morning in a beautiful basket. There was granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast with jams and honey, Danish Pastries. All very fresh. We ate these on the patio looking over the garden. There was a small kitchen with a microwave so we were able to have our evening meal on the patio. Nearby was Uncle Henry's cafe and garden shop where we could buy gifts, foodstuffs and meals to takeaway and heat up. The owners were very friendly and lovely to chat with. We enjoyed learning all about their observatory and watching for the wildlife such as hedgehogs, rabbits, and all sorts of birds within a lovely country garden setting, which looked out over a field towards the village parish church beyond. It was quiet and very restful. The accommodation was large and very comfortable.

Lovely and peaceful, loads of wildlife to be seen. Great breakfast and comfy beds. Warm welcome from the owners

It’s remote so you will have to take the car everywhere you go (this is not a negative, just be aware)

The room was super. Colour co ordinated. There was tea, coffee, cake on arrival. Flowers etc. Very thoughtful.

The only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t a mirror so that I could see when drying my hair.

Excellent breakfasts, very comfortable, nice clean modern decor, lovely views over the little valley to the church in the next village.

Electric shower slightly feeble. A washing up sponge for the kitchen area would have been helpful.
