The original room I booked was not not available due to a flood caused by bad weather the day before and I was offered an upgrade to an apartment nearby closer to the city center..

Unfortunately the apartment building didn’t have a pool which was the main reason for my original booking.

Quiet place

De studio was veel ruimer dan het leek op de kamer. Ook de kookgelegenheden waren uitstekend. Er was olie, zout, peper en suiker beschikbaar. Ook zijn er voldoende handdoeken, wc-papier en zeep aanwezig. Verder is de welkomsthal echt prachtig!

Eigenlijk viel er niet zoveel tegen. Er waren andere gasten die een beetje luidruchtig waren, maar dit werd goed opgelost door de conciërge. Verder ligt de ingang aan een redelijk drukke straat waar auto's regelmatig te hard rijden.

Сложно с бесплатной парковкой, но на соседней улице в 3х минутах есть большой паркинг у автобусной станции

La chambre principale avec vue piscine et la vue sur ville de l'autre côté.

N'avoir personne à l'accueil pendant tout le séjour ne nous convient pas du tout. Les draps du canapé lit étaient sales.

De tudo, o edificio é maravilhoso, staff muito simpático e atencioso Vistas espetaculares da varanda do quarto. Ambiente tranquilo e possibilidade de relaxar na piscina. Sem dúvida uma referência, haveremos de voltar.

Apenas uma sugestão de melhoria ao nivel do ar condicionado, teria tornado a estadia excepcional e claro se disponibilizassem uma cesta de pequeno almoço seria "ouro sobre azul"

Es war alles sehr schön und simple eingerichtet. Alles was man braucht. Der Blick auf Funchal war wunderschön und es war toll, dass die Unterkunft einen Pool hatte.

Keine Klimaanlage, leider wurde es schnell heiß im Zimmer.

Não havia ar condicionado. O quarto era extremamente quente. A janela também não fechava bem e fazia imenso barulho na rua de manhã cedo.

The pool was a great addition & was close to Funchal city centre

The property had no air conditioning so was very difficult to sleep, also the photos on booking . com showed a balcony in the room & there was none! Each room had a code to get into & we ended up being locked out as the code had changed & we were not informed when we were in pool & no one to ask so ended up sending a what’s app, thankfully we had a phone with us

I think the very best place we could have booked! We managed to get 2 apartments for myself and partner and my parents and we loved our stay. Only for the 2 nights our of 9 when we were in Funchal but would stay longer next time to also explore the south side of the island from here! Considering how many steep hills there are in Madeira.... When I say this apartment was an easy walk from the center of town.... I mean it! A gentle hill and only 10 mins walk from the sea front and restaurants! The 2 apartments suited us perfectly, really clean and you can tell its been freshly renovated as the design is also very nice! There is an excellent size courtyard pool which we used twice a day, shared between only the 9 apartments. It was lovely! Also got a breeze coming in our windows so considering it was August we weren't too hot either! Bonus was the entrance lobby with a Billiards table and a lovely caraffe of Madeira wine! As there are no staff present on site (except housekeeping) we had a concierge by message who answered promptly to any queries we had. Lift too helped with getting luggage up and down to the rooms. I'd recommend staying here to anyone! And will be back myself when I come to Madeira again. Thanks!

Nothing we didn't like!

The property had a pool which is unusual for a lot of the properties. The pool was brilliant and well maintained. The location is in Funchal- which is where a lot of excursion companies offer free pick up from. Its walking distance to a supermarket. (Or you can order your water through Uber eats and have it delivered to you to save carrying it up a hill like I did) I was in 3G i had a view of the pool and on the other side a balcony and view over Funchal which was beautiful at night. Plenty of space and they had 2x portable fans in my room. The kitchen area had plenty of plates and utensils, microwave, stove top and fridge/ freezer.

I would of liked a full length mirror outside of the bathroom personally as the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t the best.

No AC, it was really hot in the apartment The swimming was not clean (green water)

Around swimming pool was present some Building open site that was working with lots of Noise. In addition no good to see. but is it a temporary situation

Our room faced to a loud construction site. On the other side we did not have seeview as promised. The neighbours had an interesting party just next to our window. When we asked for an other room or a cancellation the host was not cooperative at all.

Staff very helpful and nice to deal with. Location is a little out of town centre but a taxi isn't expensive and walking is only 10 to 15 minutes. Beautiful view from the balcony of our suite. Spacious room.

Would have appreciated a bottle of water in the fridge or a couple of tea bags 'there were two green tea teabags) or coffee as there is not a supermarket just around the corner ! For luxury suites we expect a little bit extra. Otherwise all was great!

The location was good. Short walk to everything you needed in a peaceful part of town

I stayed for 5 Nights and the room was not cleaned once, sheets not changed once and it wasn’t offered either There is never anyone in reception, every question is handled via whatsapp I needed to cancel an additional night that I was booked for (having stayed for 5) the 6th additional night I canceled over 3 days in advance. I was told I would receive a 70% return for that one night because of a cancellation fee. I never got this after 1 month of following up they then told me it was against their policy

it's good size unit with a shared swimming pool with sun in the afternoon. Had a good view to the city.

No help on-site, all communication was remote. It's near streets with heavy traffick and it's loud. Also some construction work nearby at the moment so you hear construction loud noises in the swimming pool area and rooms during work hours. Noise from other guests in corridors can also be very loud heard and be heard in the bedroom. I thought I had reserved sea view. Not sure if it was my mistake or if I was misled during reservation regarding the description.
