Mrs Jensen's Bakery Suite... a very sweet suite
Mrs Jensens Bakery Suite war in den 1920er Jahren eine Nachbarschaftsbäckerei in diesem historischen Viertel im viktorianischen Stil. Es wurde in eine gemütliche und bezaubernde Cottage-Suite im Stil der 1920er Jahre mit einem hellen, luftigen Salon, einer hübschen Küchenzeile, einem eigenen Bad und einer eigenen Terrasse mit Bistrotisch und Blumenkästen umgebaut. Es hat sogar ein Dachdeck! Ihr Aufenthalt beinhaltet guten Kaffee, Tee, Willkommensgebäck, gefiltertes Wasser, kuschelige Bademäntel und Hausschuhe, flauschige türkische Handtücher, Seifen und Toilettenartikel.

Clean relaxing place to stay for two weeks. Very nice neighborhood with good restaurants, parks and other amenities within walking distance. We hope to return next year.

We enjoyed staying in a place that is so artfully decorated in the Victorian style. Everything was supplied for a perfect two night stay.

The property was very cozy and charming. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dinnerware, glasses, utensils, etc., as well as coffee, a variety of teas, and light breakfast fare. The location was quiet and convenient.
The only negative is that it was very dark with the lights out, so I would suggest including a night light since there was a wooden post right next to the bed which one could run into in the dark.

It was super comfortable!! The bed was amazing and the furniture was very comfortable. It is a very relaxing place to be. She has done such an amazing job of decorating. We loved looking at all the beautiful houses in that area. We would go back.

This is the perfect spot for all things Tacoma. The VRBO was exceptional, as was Carol! She was wonderful and attentive; responding quickly and kindly. We can’t wait to visit again!

My husband were visiting Seattle for medical reasons. We wanted to make a vacation of it to relax and settle our minds. We both love anything vintage. This little suite decorated in 1920's cottage style was just for us! It was so quaint and cozy; and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The tree-lined streets and the local area full of culture is an excellent location for this cute, little place. The suite was clean and comfortable. It's attached to a house, but it's very private and the hosts don't bother you. This is a great place to stay if you're in the area.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the bakery! The petite space had everything we needed, including air conditioning during a hot spell. The eclectic neighborhood was a great introduction to Tacoma and convenient for everything we wanted to do.

This is a charming property in old town Tacoma. I loved the house and the property was within walking distance of restaurants and a nice park with a beautify conservatory. Highly recommend.

The place is lovely still retaining some of the old antiques from what a classy bakery and tea house might have had. Items were there for a perfect breakfast and everything was super comfortable.

We loved our visit to Tacoma! This was the perfect location to walk to great restaurants, a grocery store, a park, and more. The hosts were very friendly and explained everything perfectly.

The bakery suite was perfect for us and our dog! The neighborhood was a delight to explore with plenty of green space to walk the dog. Multiple great food options in walking distance and easy street parking. The suite itself is laid out so that there was enough room for us to both work and relax without getting in each other's way. The property is lush and beautiful. Cottage is super cute and thoughtfully appointed. I'm in love with the neighborhood and neighbors. Cookies, drinks, and treats were a welcome surprise. Carol was extremely communicative. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful little home
We absolutely loved our stay at the historic "bakery". Loved all the details in the decor and the old books and binders with places to eat and visit etc. I wouldn't necessarily recommend for families with small children as there are a number of fragile items but for older kids and adults it's perfect. The bed and couch were comfortable and the neighborhood was adorable.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay
Everything about my time at the Bakery Suite exceeded my expectations. This is the coziest, most charming vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in and I would love to return for an even longer time period. Tim and Carol are the most gracious hosts and made me feel so welcome. I even had the pleasure of meeting the neighbors and was touched by how kind and welcoming they were. I can’t say enough about how much I loved my time here.

Great Location
Second time staying here, totally love the place. However, this time it took 24 hours for the place to warm up. The shower water never did warm up. AND I will book this again, no doubt.

Charming Vintage
The owner has carefully curated the decor of this vintage "Bakery". Excellent location, fabulous bed, superb for one or two people. My guests, all teenage grandchildren were impressed and suggested "Grandma, you should retire here". Absolutley lovely! Have already booked a second stay.

One of the best Homes we have stayed in
Everything about it worked like a charm. Such careful thought and lovely touches were added. It couldn't have been more comfortable and we hope to return soon.

Wonderful Cottage
This place and neighborhood is quaint and cute. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Inside was nicely decorated and the owner left some delicious cookies, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, and orange juice (of course coffee & tea). There was a corner market down the street and a pizza place conveniently located across the street from the market. Down further is a mom and pop hamburger stand.
