Very nice breakfast, which the landlord got up earlier than normal times to do for us for 2 days, due to the need for an early morning start. The room, whilst small, was very comfortable and clean and provided all that was needed. Wifi was very good strength.
Absolutely put to shame some B & B's that we have stayed at recently.

Breakfast great and location perfect in proximity to daily requirements
The bed and pillows were hard we both had bad backs sore hips and heads and consequently had little sleep
Artificial flowers could all do with a wash or thrown out

Excellent in every way. We travelled with our dog and found good dog walks on the banks of the Trent within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was tasty. We didn't feel rushed out of the place in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The bed was a bit soft for my liking - its personal preference so not a criticism.

We struggled to open the windows in Room 1 during the night. Admittedly we forgot to ask the host about it in the morning.

Location for my work purposes - judging at the Lincolnshire County Show was excellent. The owners couldn't be more helpful. We only needed breakfast on 1 of our 2 days but that too was made to order just as you wanted.
More hooks or similar to hang wet towels in the en-suite would have been useful. But I realise that space is limited in a listed property conversion.

We made the correct decision to stay in the country as opposed to the towns for the seclusion..as a bonus there was a great pub over the road which served great meals.

The only thing I could fault was the pillows, too hard for my liking but thats a personal thing.

Excellent place to stay, excellent breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, ample parking. Fantastic hosts. Very good shower. The room i stayed in was a studio with all mod cons (electric hob, microwave, toaster).

Location was great. The room was very clean & comfortable & the shower was the best I've ever used in a hotel / B&B - I didn't want to get out! The breakfast was tasty & they were very accommodating. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Dog friendly. We'll definitely be back!

This was fantastic value, everything has been thought of, king size bed, excellent kitchen facilities great bathroom with plenty room, Excellent welcome pack on arrival including a lemon drizzle cake, which with a cup of tea made a great start to the visit. Great parking facility ,lovely quiet area, we both slept very well in a comfortable king size bed Heating available when we needed it,The kitchen had oven and hob, microwave, fridge kettle ,crockery cutlery, Very good crisp bedding, in fact all A1.

The breakfast was lovely, and the room & shower were very clean. The parking was at the back of the guest house and we felt that it was a good secure place. We were comfortable and got a reasonable night's sleep.
The room and shower were small, and we had to shift things around just to fit our suitcases in. The television was very small (by necessity).

The family run establishment is very welcoming and gelpful in every way. Graham the son was most helpful in driving ne to and from the party I went to
