Lovely japanese style flat

Very close to ferry station. Large beautiful space.

- Only one toilet was difficult for 6 people (don’t know how they could handle 11!). - front door lock was broken and it took many hours to have someone let us in. When someone finally came, they stored our luggage for us until the door could be opened, but we missed much of the afternoon in Miyajima. They did give us a partial refund for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.

great location, super equipped and beautiful house

Great location that is easily walkable to the main attractions on Miyajima. The managers were very responsive and let us leave our luggage in the room early so we didn't have to keep them with us until check in. Apartment was very nice and had everything we needed.

Be prepared, the unit is on the third floor so you have to carry luggage up the stairs as there is no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us, just a heads up for other travelers.

Don't be confused the first 4 digit code is correct door The other is for lock after check in. Overall very good place as super near the ferry pier. Reach 4pm to check in straight and see the torri gate.

Had to climb a few stairs with a toddler and a pram to get to the door but the location was great, the unit was well-maintained and it had some lovely traditional touches with modern amenities. Host was also very responsive.

The key access code was easy to miss but easily clarified with a quick message. Nowhere for bag storage so had to lug our bags around the island.

Location was close to the ferry and the main town which had plenty of restaurants etc (although most were closed the day we visited). Everything seems to shut early on Miyajima!

It was very noisy at night as close to the dockyard and there was banging and clanging from 9pm through to 6am the next morning and it was non stop. It made sleeping very difficult which is a shame as the property was very nice and spacious and would have been a result otherwise. It sounded like someone was hammering rivets into a sheet of metal and angle grinding. This could have been bad luck and was not fault of the owner but we later found ear plugs in the bathroom so I guess this isn't the first time this has happened.

This is a really wonderful place to stay. The location is extremely convenient (just across from the pier and a ~10-15 minute walk into town centre and to the shrine). It is spacious, clean and nicely designed. The bedroom has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the spacious shower room. We didn’t try cooking in the kitchen ourselves, but it seemed well equipped. We would love to come back someday!

the code for the key lock didn’t work and so the cleaner had to let us in. we contacted the property manager and they just kept sending the same code that wasn’t working. the cleaner was so helpful and kind though.

This apartment was bigger than most hotels on the island. With a full kitchen and private bathroom, this apartment was hands down the best for your money. The Hotel Villa Miyajima was right next door and they have a bar that stays open till 11pm.

The apartment can be a bit hot during your arrival due to the summer months but every room has an air conditioner that will quickly cool it down.

The room is very clean and wide and it is great enough to chill with friends.
