Bed could have been better

The Mews are run by the hotel, meaning you get access to all the hotel facilities, which is great. Spacious mews is definitely better than a family room with kids and having own kitchen was great.

The Mews were a little dated, didn't look as nice in reality as the images, could do with upgrading certain elements and adding options to separate and recycle rubbish, esp in a climate emergency.

The property was clean and comfortable and the arrival package with milk, bread, crisps and treats for the kids was a lovely addition. The setting on the hotel estate was great, with use of the pool for the kids (from 9am) and the thermal suite for adults. We also booked breakfast at the hotel one morning which was lovely. The grounds were pretty and there were some nice walks - I ran the Minaun Trail (some steep bits but amazing views). We visited a sweet little village Passage East (10 min by car) but spent most of our days in Waterford city (20 min drive) visiting family.

Not the property features in the photos. It was smaller but I guessed it would be. The decor was a little bit tired in places but generally well kept. The property within the mews wasn’t well labelled when we arrived late in the evening but we found it eventually!

You lied about the distance from Waterford city center

House was big, nicely decorated and cosy, especially liked the small touches like bread, milk and crisps waiting for us in the kitchen after a long car ride!

Bed wasn't the most comfortable and noisy when you moved and there was some noise at night from the football pitches behind the house but thankfully didn't wake the kids

We rented a three bedroom that slept six. The house had only one shower which was inconvenient for six people. It needs another shower. We were travelling with young children. A playground on the property would have been nice; swings, slides, etc. A daily shuttle service between Faithlegg and the town of Waterford would be nice.
