Really friendly people,good value for money

The room was very comfortable.

The bathroom was never cleaned. It should be cleaned often especially when many people use it. The kitchen was also not clean.

there was only fan in room which is ok because it was mentioned but there was not electricity for several hours and we were sweating like anything and no generator also

The staff are very Fantastic! There is a particular staff member who is called Bucar Ndow, He is an indispensable asset and the live wire of that building, Without him, business may not move, he is a very young boy but with a lot of skills and experience to deal with customers in a very nice way. Free breakfast every morning was also very great. It is situated by the road side, so you don't need to work metres before you reach the place. It is close to many tourist attractions like crocodile ZOO, craft markets, fish market etc

It could have been more special if they provide cooking facilities for the customer to cook, although it wasn't part of agreement but this is just a suggestion. Also would have benefited from putting cotton on bathroom/toilet window and ensure that the windows are checked regularly for defects

in the night quite noisy towards the road, no mosquito net The adress of Google Maps and Booking.com is wrong! We spent 1 h searching for the Hotel, it is 2 blocks besides the indicated position of Booking.com, no hint after the booking :-(

Blue Residence is awesome. Great value for the money, but more importantly it feels like home. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms and the manager knows everyone and is happy to help. Absolutely don't hesitate to stay here. Always our top choice in The Gambia.

Everything is great.

the swedish manager was always around - you can ask her always everything. and she made even the best breakfast omlett after 5 month in The Gambia😋 large room large bathroom ( private ) relaxed atmosphere, friendly talkative other travelers ( which is not always in the other expensive resorts ) the nights were quiet ( my room was back side, not to the street ) extra bathroom towel ( the last 5 month in The Gambia only 2 times ! ) enough toilet paper ( not always like here ) even not on the beach, 10 minutes walking to the beach and some good inexpensive restaurants.

for a cheap city accommodation nothing i could complain

The room is large, light and airy. There's a nice sitting room with cushy chairs and a sofa, and the restaurant for breakfast is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great and hearty. Manager and staff are wonderfully welcoming and exceedingly helpful. The neighborhood is walkable, but shared taxi is cheap and easier to get to most places. And there's a convenience store right across the street that has most things you'll need. Easy access for wherever you want to go. Also, it's near the American and some other embassies so if the power cuts out it gets resolved faster than in some other areas. Very relaxing and it's easy to work, or go out and explore, or hit the beach. Whatever you like.

Maybe the mattress

Very lovely host. It had a bit of a Swedish touch to it. The lady in charge made me an awesome ommelte. Driver picked me up from Banjul airport, even when my flight was 2 hours delayed due to mechanical problems.

The reception ley system during night is not efficient.

Very clean and well equipped rooms and bathroom, and lush sofa and large television in main sitting room. Exceptional staff, trying to please me, whatever I needed. Good WiFi, a good family/friend feeling, good if you travel by yourself. I had the best omelette ever cooked by the manager himself.

This bed and breakfast is located at a road which is a bit busy, although at night it is very quiet, and the rooms go out to the back. It is basically located above a furniture shop, so not the usual hotel feel, but this is not important once you are inside, as its very nice inside. But there is basically no garden to sit outside, if that was important for the person. There is a large veranda on top of the building, to sit outside.
