I liked that there was great accessibility, it’s very well located, the warm pool was definitely our favourite.

The air con in the room was faulty so the room was cold and it took a while for the matter to be resolved, a solution was only offered on the second night. Additionally, given that we were two guests I would have expected two shower caps.

Super clean hotel and convenient location. The hotel staff are excellent. There was a maintenance issue in my room which was taken care of promptly and professionally. Siya, Bobby and the team went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel twice, and on both occasions it has been wonderful. From the friendly concierge to the chef, cleaning staff - they are all great. We cannot wait to return!

Breakfast is pretty basic for the price compared to the Marriott. Breakfast is understaffed, and reception staff are unhelpful. You have to pay for parking separately.

Air conditioning doesn’t heat up. Staff not much helpful after check in. Shower water not warm enough at night. If you take all inclusive breakfast and dinner package, they treat you like you are receiving hand-outs, even the menu is limited. I would expect to have enough choices like everyone else.

My room , I had to go back to the receptionist to ask for another room. When I made my booking I clicked the King and a sleeper . Because I saw "King" I thought it will be superior room . The size of the room was very small . The milk sachets were spoiled I called and the lady and she came to give us sachets but at that time my nephew bought me a liter of fresh milk from the shop. The carpet in the room was not so clean. I fell down in the dinning area no staff came to my rescue only a couple who was next to me. The gentlemen who assisted me asked the waiter to bring warm water with sugar , no one did that fast. Cold water with honey came after a while. Durban is hot , I needed to wash my hair but shampoo bottle ran empty as well as shower gel. I came to Hilton with great expectations , I did not book at Southern Sun , Maharani that time thinking that Hilton at Umhlanga will be the best.

From the time that we entered the facility, the reception from the security individual was warm and kind. We proceeded to the reception area where we were professionally welcomed and assigned a key to our room. The room was a a work of art with meticulous finishes and provided the perfect level of comfort for myself and my family. The WiFi allowed us keep connected and no additional charge and unlike any other hotel that i have been to the strength of the signal was uninterrupted and strong. The breakfast was Devine with varying options to choose from and the staff were extremely kind well versed in their area of expertise. The facility is child friendly and catered very well for my daughter, especially the heated pool area. Overall i am impressed and in awe at what this facility has to offer. I would definitely recommend staying here and from now on forth, i am an advocate of Hilton Gardens and will spread the word to others hoping to visit Durban. Above all it is well priced for this level of comfort. Thank you

o quarto que me foi oferecido cheirava a mofo, bastante abafado impossivel de ficar entretanto para mudar foi um pesadelo. so foi possivel depois de muito debater com o gerente que se mostrou mal criado e pouco amigavel, rude.

Large comfortable room. Open plan design in relation to wardrobe and washbasin. Toilet and shower different cubicles which is handy when more than one occupying the room. Large picture window with great views across Durban and the beach. Restaurant food plenty of choice all well cooked. Breakfast buffet style with plenty of choice.

Invoice is confusing as they take prepayment and work backwards and giving a refund at the end, required the need to ask for separate invoice for expenses claim requirements. not a long enough stay to try out all the facilities.
