House was situated in a valley and the view out the back deck was amazing. House was nice inside and out although there were dead (and live) ladybugs everywhere outside the deck making it difficult to use. Grill needs replaced too. Really bad condition and slow to heat.

The location is very private and a short drive away from lots of activities and attractions. During our stay, we found pieces broken off the dishwasher, the oven did not work and the ice maker was hit-or-miss. In addition, there were really only 2 showers for the entire group as one was located in the master bathroom - with lukewarm water. There were a lot of little things that could have been much better. We did enjoy our time together but likely would not return to this destination.

This was our second year to stay at the Rockdale Lodge on our annual early fall golf trip and it worked perfect for our group. Plenty of room and beds for 8 guy golfers. House is very clean and comfortable. The outside deck was great for grilling out and relaxing while enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains. We've been going on this golf trip for 20 yrs and stayed in several mountain houses and this is our favorite.

I rented this property for me and some family members to stay in so we could attend a family wedding. The place was overall was clean it fit all 18 of us comfortably. Very quiet area, the outside deck area after breakfast taken in the amazing views was realaxing what a great little area for people to sit and chit chat. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The house is stocked well with basics plates cups etc. Going up the street/gravel driveway was tricky and bumpy make sure you have some ort of suv/truck type of car but we got used to it. We had a great stay definately would recommend.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for all 14 of us. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful views, the hot tub, pool and ping pong table. Large kitchen with plenty of seating for meals. Located conveniently to the surrounding towns to visit. Will definitely return when we plan another mountain vacation.

The main floor was nice and open so people could hang out in the kitchen, dining area, or living room and still feel connected. The deck right off of the main living area offered great views, seating, and a grill. We also spent much of our time downstairs where the game area was. Our family enjoyed the pool table, which also converts to a ping pong table. There is also a sitting area in the basement, so those who weren’t playing could also hang out near by. Bedrooms: the one thing I was looking for before we went, but couldn’t find in the descriptions, reviews or by calling the company. The main floor has 4 bedrooms - 1. king master suite (with attached bathroom), 2. Queen room 3. Queen Room, 4. 3 Twin bedsDownstairs has 3 bedrooms - 1. Queen bed 2. Full bed and crib 3. King bed and twin bunk beds As others have said in previous reviews - the house is located on a shared drive that is gravel and rather steep. We took the last turn wide as others suggested and did not have any trouble, but can definitely see how some would have trouble.We all have a great time at this house and would definitely stay here again!

They answered a couple of email questions promptly before arriving. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the cleanliness. The rooms were a good size and everything was very clean!. Everything worked very well except the hot water. When we got there the hot water was barely warm. We were staying from Friday through Sunday morning. I sent a message Saturday morning at 11am about the hot water not being hot. They still have not returned message. The hot water was our only problem.

This house was stunning. It was perfect for our group of multiple family units. Everything was well stocked and sitting on the deck was beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home!! Can’t say more about this location and views from the porch. Amenities were great inside the home. Great price for a large house. Right at 20 minutes from the casino and short drive to Asheville. Would book again.

The property was beautiful and in a nice location but there was a horrible odor in the home. We could not find the source and even with the plug ins and air freshener we purchased were unable to kill the odor.

This property was absolutely wonderful and exceeded expectations. All rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ample parking for multiple family vehicles. The decks have a great view of the mountain and large area for guests. And a GAS grill that was ready to use with propane! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!!

They were great. We did have one issue with the door knob to the deck from the main floor. We called it in but no one showed up to fix it. Luckily there was always someone at the place. Other than that, they were always quick to answer emails.

The upstairs kitchen/great rooms were spacious and enjoyable, including fireplace and deck with great Mountain Views. There was also a nice large living area in the basement. Plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the back yard area is fenced which is also a nice feature. We had a great time and would definitely come back! The only mishap was an alarm that kept going off, but I was able to reach someone easily and get it taken care of. Service is terrible (unsurprising up in the mountains) but the WiFi worked well.

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rental property. Also finding booster seats, cribs and children cups and plates were very much appreciated. The home was in good condition and everything worked well with the exception of the dish washer. My only honest comment is that the non cotton sheets are not very comfortable.

Online pics and renting complete with directions as well as a phone call during stay to confirm all was well. Will do this again

Decks on 2 floors, fire pit, 2 family rooms and a large kitchen. The house was very clean and well equipped. The only issue we has was the last turn coming to the house as 3 of 4 cars had wheels spinning upon our arrival. You just need to swing wide and we had no problem. Property Management team gets 5+ stars. They were so helpful from the time we booked til we were leaving the driveway. Highly recommend this Beautiful home.

We had several teenagers who loved the pool table and hot tub. We were only there 2 nights and spent the full day at the Great Smoky Mountain RR. Wish we had been able to stay a couple more nights. The gravel drive (Primrose) is pretty steep and rough in places. That was the only thing that was a surprise.
