It was a family run hotel and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a good couple of nights here.

The hotel was situated away from the town and it was 20 minutes walk to the nearest restaurants. The rooms were very basic and not really at 4 star standard.

The staff was very friendly and smiling all the time.The room was big, modern, clean, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was various, fresh and plenty of options.

The hotel position is not the greatest.

the property is spotless, shower rooms are spacious as are the rooms, we had a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. we have never stayed in such a clean hotel, the decor is tasteful and comfortable. the owner and staff could not be any more helpful, they are happy and nothing is too much trouble. the food is unreal! the breakfast is tasty and fresh. try the pancakes! most of the food is homegrown and homemade, plus the cocktails are delicious. it’s a family run hotel so you can see the pride and attention to details. pool is clean, sun beds are well maintained. absolutely lovely stay.

Location was ideal for our purpose which was an emergency stay following the cancellation of our flight. The host responded very quickly and was very welcoming when we arrived. As we arrived late they made sure we had food before kitchen closed. I the morning it was still uncertain when our flight was to depart so we were given a late checkout. The hotel also arranged for a taxi pick-up to transfer back to the airport.

There was nothing to dislike.

Kitchenette very poor equipped, Room stated as sea view, but the view of the sea was 5% real, so they should clearly state like other hotels "partly sea view" and I would have said nothing. Very far from everything, you definitely need a car or scooter to move around

The staff were incredible and helped us plan out our days which was super nice. They also rent out their own cars for pretty cheap which allowed us to go to a lot of different places we otherwise would never have been!

It was a little remote - but that was nice as well as it was super quiet right around the hotel.

A beautiful hotel and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for beaches to visit, even giving recommendations for our onwards trip to Athens. The food was amazing, they offered lots of traditional Greek options. The pool area was lovely with lots of sunbeds. The room was really spacious and clean with a lovely view from the balcony. I would highly recommend this hotel

varied offer for breakfast (pastries, cheeses, yoghurt, vegetables, eggs, meats, preserves, fruit juices, coffee, tea, etc); clean room with a good size terrace overlooking flower garden and field; great swimming pool; limited but deliciously local dinner menu offer with most ingredients coming from the owner's garden; spectacular Greek wine collection; excellent table service

The hotel was very nice, clean and cozy. EVerything about the hotel reminded me of the quote "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". It is a very simple yet quite good quality hotel. Staff is very nice, you feel so cozy like home. If I go to Zakynthos ever again, I know where I am going to stay. Thanks to everyone in the hotel to give us such a nice stay!

Everything was amazing!

Angelos and Mary were excellent hosts. All staff were friendly and helpful The place was spotless with a lovely pool area.My room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom and plentiful toiletries.,Breakfast which was included was nice , The food available for lunch and dinner was varied and delicious..I would recommend this hotel and would happily return. Vardiola Taverna nearby offers delicious sea food and a nice beach area. The local scenery is lovely and you are met with delicious scents as you wonder around.Zante is a lush island and everywhere you go you can smell Thyme, roses and honeysuckle..The weather for the first few days of my trip was not good so it gave me the opportunity to wander and appreciate nature..

It wasn't an issue for me as I like walking but if you come without a car , it is difficult to get around There are scheduled buses from the supermarket which is a 15 walk from the hotel but they never camet.It was the start of the season so maybe that will change, otherwise taxis are not difficult to arrange but this can be an expensive option...

This hotel is owned and operated by the most pleasant, kind and trustworthy family. They welcomed us with open arms and took great care of us. The hotel was spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved the food so much, we ate dinner there all 3 nights! Would highly recommend to all of our friends and family. Thank you!

The staff were outstanding. so helpful and friendly. Our room had a beautiful view and the bathroom was newly renovated and just lovely.

It was a little isolated for us and being there at the end of the season, it was very quiet. But that may not be the case in high season.

Only the size of the room, and the cleanliness OK.

We were a group of 6 people, actually shocked by the attitude and the rules were imposed by the manager. WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A COFFEE BEFORE 8:30 AM. Breakfast was poor and served at 8.30 (omelette, bacon and pizza all cold, etc.). The attitude of the manager as an absolute master and the fact that he took the power cord of the coffee machine, so that it could not be used before the time set by him, was awful. He is an very unfriendly host, although on the first day he welcomed us with fake friendship. I am an honest person and I admit that he helped me with printing some documents for free. We paid more than 155 euros/night for a 4-star hotel with breakfast included! in an isolated area, there is no sea view but the sea view in the distance... I have only negative comments, except for the cleanliness and the size of the rooms! How to wait for breakfast and go to the beach after 9 am? This is not a 4* hotel, for sure! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We loved the place. Starting with hotel and services and ending with location. Hotel is in a middle of the island, really quite place with nice view from more less all rooms. You can rent really cheap car from the hotel and reach all famous beaches and more.

I would enjoy more restaurant at the hotel, if prices would be a bit lower.

Everything was very clean, the hotel, the room, the pool. they clean the room and change the towels Daily and the sheets at two days. Al the personal including mr Angelos were very kind and they help with all the information that you need. A very kind girl help you with the breakfast and another one with the bar. near the hotel, around 300m, was a small but nice beach.

The diversity of the breakfast. The food was very very good, but the same thing always. You have what to chose but my suggestion is that at few days to change something ☺️

best Host. super Beach and not Touristy

Very beautiful, clean, comfortable and cosy hotel, with a friendly, honest and very active owner. Helped to find the best beaches, offered an affordable car rental (after every single "official" car rental company seemed to be a ripoff). They took us & dropped off from/to the airport free of charge, allowed to use the shower/bathroom after checkout. All in all, a positive experience!

I think it should be more clearly communicated, that this hotel is primarily for couples traveling without children, looking for a romantic getaway. At the breakfast guests should be allowed to help themselves rather than waiting in the queue until the waitress serves them (or more waitresses should be involved to avoid queues). Nicer beaches are unreachable without a car.

Angelo was the nicest host and all the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good and room & balcony were spacious and clean. Because of the slight smaller size of the hotel, you’ll receive a personal level of service, which is nice. We rented a car provided by Angelo which we could hand in at the airport when we departed: so convenient! We had dinner at the hotel 1 night and it was delicious!

- Very disappointed by the property manager’s behaviour, Mr. Angelo. He set the time of departure for us at 8h30 and didn’t even offer anything from the breakfast buffet that was starting at the same time. Then he looked daggers at me and asked me to hurry up in a very unpleasant voice because and as he put it “ there are other clients, you’re not the only ones” and almost cancelled the ride (that we had paid for). - When we checked the car after we returned it, Mr. Angelo assured us that there were 2 bars left on the fuel gauge when we rented the car. Hopefully my friend had taken a photo of the gauge before our first ride and it only showed one bar.. - We never felt comfortable around Mr. Angelo who lacks professional and commercial skills. Even if we were late (and we came downstairs only 8 minutes after the expected time), making these kinds of comments badly tarnishes the property’s reputation and I can’t even remember anything positive from our stay at Arkadia Hotel. PS: our room had a beach view if we bended far enough, then we could see it.

The accommodation was superb and we had a very pleasant stay. Mr. Angelos and his staff made us feel like home and helped us out with all our questions at any time of the day. We would highly recommend people to stay at Arkadia Hotel when traveling to Zakynthos. Thank you for everything and also for the free life lessons, haha! ;)
