Hosts have provided everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Linens are top notch. Kitchen has everything needed and more. Location is great -- quiet and great views. Lot

The cottage was very well kept up, clean, and orgaized. Only negative was the master bed was way to hard and the other bed was too soft. So sleeping was a little tough for us. We liked how cozy and homie the cottage was.

Such a charming, cozy place to call home on our U.P. journey. We miss it already! This house has such good energy. It has been well-loved and we felt connected us to generations past. From the decor, books & games; comfy pillows & throws, super-stocked kitchen, tons of linens, many amenities & new washer/dryer, to the convenience of location and lake proximity, this house is beautifully situated and thoughtfully appointed. 2 couples from 1 family reunited here and had a super time. One thing to know if you're considering this rental is that you need healthy knee and hip joints to navigate the high-riser/narrow-tread stairs to the bedrooms. (Though the main floor sofa is large and comfy if needed.)

It was an older style cottage but very clean and had all the essentials and sleeping was comfortable. Great location, close to town and hiking at Pictured Rocks and golfing. Nice and close to stores and the town area for food, coffee or shops to visit. Loved our short stay. The house was very cozy at night relaxing by the TV. We felt at home.

Host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. All you need is your personal items and food you like to eat, can cook to your heart’s content, and extra bedding and towels a wonderful plus. House is old, but has charm and love the decor, fits the Lake Superior history

Great little house! It rained during a lot of our visit, but it was the perfect cozy little place to watch the storm and spend our time. Had everything we could possibly want. We do like to walk rather than drive, and it wasn’t in a walking-to-town location (no sidewalks) BUT there is a great little lakeside park across the street for picnics, etc!

Didn’t realize how old the place was. It definitely gave off an old farm house vibe for me. But it was definitely cozy. Really enjoyed opening up the door to the porch to allow the cool air from the lake to come in while being in the living room. Very clean. Would consider staying again.

This cottage was perfect for our family! We visited Munising to explore Pictured Rocks, and this home was in the best location to access the park. It was also super convenient to get to downtown and the docks where the cruises leave. Randy was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even helping me when I had messed up some of our arrangements! The cottage itself is lovely and quaint, filled with beautiful art and comfortable furniture. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, we were not able to stay at this property, due to a snow storm that headed in at the time of our visit.
The owners were so accommodating! Even offered alternate dates to try to make our trip work. I gave them a fantastic rating because of the way they accommodated us,
If we happen to be able to visit in the furture- I will definitely rent this property.

The property is as shown and described. It has everything you'd need and more. Location was fantastic. The house has so much charm and I especially loved the bird feeders since I love birds. I even went to the nearby grocery store to buy suet for the holder that was empty. 😊 everything about my stay was great.

My friends and I agree that this is the best VBRO property we've been to. The kitchen was very well equipped--even with a garlic press. There were good pots and a lovely cast iron pan. Other amenities included nice warm blankets to cuddle up with in the living room. It was on a quiet street with a view of Lake Superior. It was nice to look at the non-standard wall decorations! The owners were great at communicating with us. One important note, the stairs to the upstairs bedroom area were steep. There is a railing, but if you have trouble with navigating stairs this might not be the right place for you. (We didn't have any trouble.) Thanks again to our hosts!!!!!

Absolutely Beautiful
We love winter and boy did we get it! Skiing the Valley Spur and hiking the Pictured Rocks was spectacular. The house was wonderful. Great location, view and well kept. Will be back next winter. John & Missy

We were a group of 4 that came up to Munising to do some ice climbing. The property was perfect for the four of us and it is very conveniently located for what we wanted to do. The place was very clean. Wonderful place to stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely home while spending some winter time in Munising. The home was very clean and warm. The accommodations were just wonderful and left us with a great experience. I would highly recommend staying at this home if your are thinking of looking at waterfalls or the pictured rocks!
