Paper thin walls, easy to hear people next door. Also outside in the reception.

This was somewhere to stop over before going to Siargao the next morning and it fit the bill quite admirably. Simple rooms with a bed and our own bathroom. 24 hour check-in / check-out. Easy access to nearby shops and dining. Across the road from the water. Walking distance to the ferry terminal. This was everything we needed.

If I was elderly or disabled; then no lift and having to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor to find the reception desk might have been a big issue.

The room is clean.

a clean small room that was overal great for a solo traveler. I arrived just for the night but I was a bit disappointed that my room didn’t have a window.

There was no toilet-seats available. The rooftops kitchen was not available due to typhoon, which occurred 4 months ago, but the property listing still indicates kitchen is available. Most of the rooms were closely surrounding the reception desk, any normal conversations could be heard clearly in the rooms. The receptionists were very accommodating and helpful.

No Wifi or tv (yet not noted in current ads), 3 steep flights of stairs to get to reception. slippery when wet and quite precarious going down. walls are only plywood and rooms are small so it’s very noisy and difficult to get to sleep. On the night we were there a noisy party was happening upstairs, breaching social distancing rules, but very unreasonable level of noise. Staff ignored our requests to have them at least tone it down, saying the party must stop at 10 pm. in their defence it did so.
