View from terrace was exceptional.

There is a bit of a problem with the water system. Toilet flushing very slow.

toilet didn’t work which ruined our stay. we were a family of 6 without a properly flushing toilet.

fantastic view of carcassonne. Valerie was excellent, even helping us with a medical issue when our son got an ear infection. highly recommended and in comfortable walking distance of both Cite gates

It is a self catering, very large appartment with 3 bedrooms, so very comfortable for our family of 4 and dog. Everything was spotless and easy. It has a garden and a terrace. It is a 20 minute walk to the old City and about the same to the modern main street and the Canal du Midi. Everything can be done on foot. Dogs are welcome. Valerie, the person who met us, was very helpful and congenial. A great place with a few minor gremlins which should be easy to fix and make the place perfect.

The tiles on some of the steps down to the apartment (We had the Garden Suite) are loose, making it uneven and unsteady. During rain the move around, and might cause a slip or fall. Also the lock to the garden gate is broken and it swings open meaning that it was not possible for us to leave our dog unattended in the garden. Other than that nothing in particular. In the old City, I would avoid the restaurant called 'La terrace', very cold welcome (if any) and moody service. The Trivalou on the same street was very good with a lovely service. Fred, in the center of town by the Canal du Midi was ok (their cassoulet was too big for one person, and overpriced we thought)

Scruffy terrace. Wifi didn’t work. Aircon didn’t work properly. Oven not working.

The apartment was absolutely fantastic. All rooms were greatly furnished, huge balcony with a beautiful view to the midevil city of Carcassonne. Valerie was extremely nice and informative. We will definately stay there again and would highly recommend it. It is certainly a great value

Everything. Stunning views and modern stylish apartment. Letting agent in Carcassonne was fantastic. Could not have been more helpful.

Picking here now but sun loungers were not great. That’s the only thing though
