Je recommande vivement ce camp. Le personnel est super gentil et accueillant, et ils ont été aux petits soins pendant notre séjour. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. La nourriture était excellente et copieuse. Mention spéciale au cuisinier qui nous a donné la recette de sa délicieuse soupe aux lentilles :) Nous avons fait une excursion en jeep avec le responsable du camp. Elle était censée durer 4 heures, et finalement elle a duré plus longtemps que prévu, afin de nous montrer un maximum de lieux et nous permettre d'assister au coucher du soleil. Merci à lui. Le camp est facile d'accès. Vous pouvez vous y rendre seul en voiture, sans passer par le centre des visiteurs de Wadi Rum ni attendre qu'on vienne vous chercher, comme c'est le cas pour d'autres camps. Les tentes sont climatisées et propres.

Die perfekte Mischung von Beduinenfeeling und wirklich hohem Komfort (komfortable Betten und ein sauberes gut ausgestattetes Bad im eigenen klimatisierten Zelt). Unglaublich nette Gastgeber, die immer für einen da sind. Dazu umfangreiches Frühstück und Abendessen als Buffet, alles sehr lecker und nett angerichtet. Und natürlich kann man mit den Gastgebern tolle Ausflüge (Jeep oder Kamel) unternehmen. Tip: Kamelritt direkt vom Camp aus in den Sonnenuntergang in der Wüste. Cleanliness, and near to wadi rum visitor center

We felt really unsafe throughout our entire stay because the camp's massive windows made it easy for anyone to enter. Unfortunately, our fears were realized when we went to the dining hall for breakfast, having locked our tent. Upon returning to our room, I caught Abdullah (the co-host of the camp and part of the family-run business) rummaging through our baggage. He immediately fled through the windows upon seeing me. I chased him, shouting for help, and when other guests noticed the incident and questioned me, he returned to my tent, profusely apologizing and showing his cut thumb, portraying himself as a victim to gain sympathy. He pleaded with me not to mention the incident to anyone. This experience left us feeling extremely unsafe and unable to eat breakfast. We wanted to leave the camp as soon as possible. After leaving, we felt that our movements were constantly monitored by them to prevent us from approaching the tourist police until we caught our bus to the next destination. We had chosen Shakria to experience the local culture, as it is run by a family, hoping to feel like a part of the family, but they shattered our trust and faith in them. No vegetarian options despite telling them our preferences. The jeep tour was essentially just a transfer service, with no explanation of provided about the stops. We were left to explore the places without any guidance. Our experience in Wadi Rum was tainted by this incident, and we wouldn't recommend the place if safety and trust are priorities.

Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Very evocative and charming location and lots of entertainments. Jeep tours available Great food too! The accommodation is basic but clean,with all the essentials and a beautiful big window facing the desert. We also went on a little trip in the desert after dinner to see the stars. Amazing experience.

Great place with a very kind and open host Mohamad and friendly staff. The tent was clean, cosy, warm (this was winter time) with all necessary facilities (AC, wifi, bathroom). We had a dinner included in price which was excellent (Zarb – underground Bedouin barbecue). Then some traditional music and dance together with locals – super pleasant. Breakfast was good too. Abdullah, co-host, shared in advance a pricelist for jeep tours and camel rides. Price was per jeep (all 4 people included) - very affordable. We had a great guide-driver Hussain – very kind and helpful. A good thing about this camp is possibility to reach it by your own regular car and park there. The road is fine from both sides – either Shakaria or Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. This is definitely the place to come back again!

Quelle expérience inoubliable ! Par où commencer ? Entre la bienveillance, la serviabilité et l’amabilité des Bédouins, c’était l’un des moments les plus fort de notre voyage. Ils ont pris le temps d’apprendre à nous connaître et nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel avec notre guide Hussein que nous recommandons. Nous avons également joué aux cartes avec le cheikh du camp. Inoubliable moment…

Było wspaniale! Miejsce jest przepiękne, gospodarze kochani, pomocni i serdeczni, jedzonko pyszne. Namiot był ciepły, czysty i bardzo ładny, widoki zapierały dech w piersiach, a jeep trip był wspaniałym przeżyciem. Dziękujemy!
