Posizione perfetta, strutture accoglienti e soprattutto l’atmosfera che si respirava: si conoscono tantissimi viaggiatori! L’host è stata gentilissima nel rispondermi e mi ha anche avvisato quando c’era l’aurora. Consigliatissimo

Niente, sembrava di stare a casa

The young woman volunteering there from Grimsby (UK) was lovely.

A staff member overreacted to myself and a roommate swapping mattresses when he suggested we swap beds as he noticed that I was having difficulties getting up the steps of the top bunk (my knees were quite bad from too much walking). I think it was easier for the staff woman to have a go at me than him because he is a long-term resident and I was there just a one night. Why she needed to have a go at anyone is beyond my understanding, when she could simply left it at we should have asked staff first. But she went on about it for about 10 minutes. Perhaps she was having a bad day and she behaved out of character. She said I should have booked a private room. It was pointless continuing the "conversation" much more after that.

Excellent location and quiet as well. Had all the amenities to cook a meal from scratch

The only minor complaint was the fitted mattress sheet was too bobbly, otherwise everything was great

I liked the central location of the property, was very close to most of the attractions as well as the pick up points for all the activities I did. The kitchen had all required appliances and the place was kept quite clean.

My main issue was with the beds being noisy when anyone would move and the thinness of the pillows. It also would have been nice to have the option of having a female only dorm as I felt quite uncomfortable sharing a room with men who appeared to be in their 50’s as i was a young girl travelling alone.

I liked that it was close to the city centre. A nice was stroll

The person ruining the place was rather nonchalant I felt as though it were an inconvenience to stay there. The bed was not comfortable and I’m not even sure if there was a clean base sheet on the bed. As I was heading to another hotel the day I checked out I had vacated the room and was just chilling in the common area when the woman came up and said I couldn’t be there and had to leave. I could leave my bags and collect them later. I really did really find her demeanour rather at odds for someone in the hospitality industry. There was basically no personal interaction other than this. Everything was done via email or text. Spend a bit more money and stay somewhere more welcoming

The location is very central and easily access to everything. I think it is converted from the traditional residential property so you get an idea how the traditional houses like. It was definitely a great experience.

The room is a little too small to fit 2 suitcases but we managed. But is really warm and nice to sleep in. The staircase could be too steep for the elderly.

Très bien situé. Les espaces de vie sont assez grands. Tout est bien expliqué avant notre arrivée pour pouvoir nous installer en toute tranquillité.

Le coussin était un peu trop plat.

Very friendly staff, room size is good, living room, nice, location great to explore the city and good as a base for hikes around Tromsø. 

Mattress too soft for my preference, dishwasher was broken, when showering almost the whole bathroom floor gets wet. 

Easy check in/out, locations, house rules

Convenient hostel on a centrally located road near the harbourfront without too much traffic. The room rate isn't cheap for sharing in a two-bunk dormitory room but this option still eases the pain of Tromso's otherwise consistently expensive accommodation. The shared kitchen was quite well stocked with utensils and the fridge and storage cupboards spacious. Coco has a pleasant atmosphere and 24 hrs access by front-door code.

If you have a rental car, parking isn't straightforward; I had to leave my car up above the town hall overnight 5 minutes' walk up the hill. There was only one shower/toilet for the floor I was on - it was kept clean but sometimes required waiting time.

The hostel was in a great location, close to the city center, hikes etc. the check-in was easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful, lots of information for activities

The wifi was not working most of the time

Located in the heart of Tromsoe with many tings to do within walking distance.

Given that it's a hostel, there are surprisingly many rules and signs reminding guests of these rules all over the place. Doesn't quite square with the concept of a hostel.

The hostel is very central and I found it a very friendly and helpful place. Was lucky with the other guest and we had a peaceful and joyful time together. The owner is great and guarantees good vibes.

Basically it is all there, some of the kitchen items could be in better shape but they do it.

I had originally booked a bunk in one of the dorms, but was upgraded to a private room with a shared bathroom upon my arrival. My room and the common areas were clean, the property is centrally-located, and the staff is super kind and helpful!

My room faced the inner courtyard and the windows are not so well insulated, so if people were talking outside I could hear everything. But I wasn't too bothered by it.

There was an oven and the matress was really good.

The entrance door are not calling us to go to the apartment. We were a little bit scared. But thenit was ok.

Very friendly and nice. Especially when considering how cheap it is, compared to other accommodation in Tromsø

perfect location, cosy and quiet, lockers in room for valuables, kitchen has everything you need and a simple self check-in. my friend and I were the only ones upstairs so no wait for the bathroom but I can imagine with a full house that’d be inconvenient. didn’t affect us though, we had a great stay - thank you!
