Middel in het oude Matera. Geweldige locatie. je kan er dus niet komen met de auto. Die parkeer je in een parkeergarage even buiten het oude deel. € 26,- voor 1 dag. Daarna moet je wel even lopen en trapjes op en af om er te komen. Maar dat is het waard. Wij hebben een appartement met balkon. Het appartement was netjes en de locatie top. De appartementen liggen rondom de ontvangstruimte van de foto. Wij zijn daar alleen ontvangen en er verder niet meer geweest. Maar er is wel een bar is. En je wordt ontvangen met een lekker glas koud water.

- het matras was hard en lag op een plank in plaats van een spiraal - de muggenhorren waren stuk helaas - er staat dat het ontbijt op een andere locatie is maar dat hebben wij niet kunnen vinden dankzij de summiere aanwijzingen van de ontvangende dame. later begrepen wij dat het restaurantje ook niet open was geweest. Dat was wel jammer want het had een hoop lopen en zoekwerk gescheeld.

Excellent location. The owner was kind and took the time to show us the best spots to see on a map. The room has a beautiful view of the Sassi.

The lady who greeted us was rude and made us feel very unwelcome. We arrived at the stated check in time, when she realised we didn’t speak Italian she turned to the people who she was already speaking with and gestured rudely at us and sounded like she was talking about us for minutes, the person she was speaking to translated a couple sentences and that she had said that check in is at 2.30pm and to wait - even though it was past that time already. The owner checked us in about 30 mins later and was apologetic, which is completely fine as being late happens. That evening I messaged the property to let them know our plans had changed and we would need to check out early in the morning, and asked if they would prefer us to leave the key in the room or reception. This was met with a fairly rude message that I should’ve messaged earlier and once again we felt we had inconvenienced them. This could simply be a misinterpretation via text, however our stay was made quite unpleasant by the interactions with rude staff. It would be unlikely that we would stay here again.

Amazing, mesmerizing view from the balcony, great location - easy access to attractions and restaurants. The apartment is spacious enough for our family, cozy and comfortable. The kind host provided a lot of useful information and a map. Free parking space nearby. Top ratings! ❤️❤️❤️

The perfect location, interior of apartaments, kind staff.

Location is very central, size of the room and size of the bathroom. Felice was a wonderful host. He helped us arrange a hiking tour. Breakfast was also lovely- lots of choices.

The air condition is loud and it sounded like there was a windstorm.
