Pro- Very convenient location, very clean, functional and updated. Con- Door lock system is a pain in the a——. Really! T.V. is poorly located- only one person can watch. And there is no live t.v. Streaming is fine- but some of us still like to watch current news and sports

Nicely remodeled with all the amenities you need. Very comfortable bed, great location.

Everything was great. Loved the location also. The ONLY thing that was a little difficult was the tv being on the wall beside the bed. It was a little difficult watching it sideways from the bed.

This property was perfect for us. Close to everything but not in the middle of the crowds. The room was clean and peaceful. Love having the fireplace going for heat. We will definitely be back.

This was a very nice place to stay! Very clean, updated, and had everything we needed. The staff was very professional and helpful when communicating with us. The only downside was that the walls are very thin, and we could clearly hear the people staying next to us. Overall, it was great though!

Former motel that has been 'tarted up'. Rooms are small but updates make it feel a little less like a former motel. Value is in the location if you want lake, concert or gambling access as well as skiing though there isn't much room for gear. Website makes the rooms look bigger than they are. Most are converted motel rooms that while update are starved for space. No place to hang out on the property except a metal chair in front of each room. Dorm fridge and just the bare essentials for 2 people Couldn't imaging storing skits there. Bed comfortable. Communications was odd as they contacted me by mistake twice thinking I was the guest next to us, but just a terse text when they figured out they contacted the wrong person. We didn't stay in the room much as it wasn't that comfortable to hang out. If you are not planning on staying the in room much, might be overpriced. Seems expensive compared to other places that may not photograph as nice but might be better value.

This VRBO was beautifully decorated and bed was amazingly comfortable. All the amenities were perfect. Walking distance to shops, dining and short walk to the beach. I would love to stay here again

It was a nice studio in a great location. We were able to walk to the shops and casino. It was clean and the check in process was easy. Definitely recommend.

The room was super clean and comfy! The host made sure to include everything we needed for our stay and was super friendly! Great location, a nice taco stand less than a minute away and the Heavenly center less than a 10 minute walk. Definitely would stay again!

I’m so happy that I found this gem of a place to stay in South Lake! My partner and I are avid snowboarders, and visit South Lake quite frequently every winter. We usually stay in one of the casinos but sometimes it’s nice to be away from the crowds. South Lake Chalet is tucked away on a quiet backstreet, just steps away from the action. The unit that we stayed in was super clean and cozy, with a nice little kitchenette including a Kuereg coffee maker (with complimentary pods and creamers) microwave and mini fridge. The bed was very comfy and we enjoyed the fireplace keeping us warm at night. Management was very informative and responsive to our questions. We hope to book here again soon’

Such a beautiful Chalet and wonderful place to stay. Only a couple of challenges. Unlocking or locking the door a challenge for both me & husband. Inside the room is gorgeous. The fireplace is relaxing, warm, lovely. We couldn't turn off flames in evening and kept us awake. I am sure our group of friends plan to be there next year too. A great time.

Very good price, clean room, nicely updated. Comfortable bed, the heating and air work great. Fireplace is a nice touch of ambiance. My only issue the walls are thin so you can hear a lot of what’s going on around you. Host was very responsive whenever I had a question or problem, and they were quick to fix any issues (split unit was displaying error code. The remotely took care of it.) overall had a nice stay. Would stay again.
