We never got to stay at the property. Fraudulent listing. Couldn't get host to call me. Host asked for more money and private info. Very horrible exp. I was traveling with my disabled wife. For a weekend getaway. Host refused to call and give check in details. It was the worst exp I have ever had on VRBO. Sat on the phone for 6 hours with VRBO. Never got resolution. Still haven't gotten a refund. VRBO couldn't get in contact with fraudulent host. Called a private investigator who provided me with some interesting details. That confirmed our suspicions. I have used VRBO at least 20 times in the past. Never had an exp like this before. However of they don't refund us and make this right. After 6 hours on the phone. Being disconnected multiple times. Filing numerous case numbers. Having to start the process all over again 4 times. Never receiveing one call back after being hung up on. This will be our very last time using this service. Never book with a host if they refuse to call you and have 0 reviews on a new listing. This is a sign it will be a scam. We lost time, lots of money traveling, missed a concert we had tickets for, lost money for our dog boarding, Total loss in well in the thousands. Not to mention stress is a trigger for my wife's disability. Just an all around horrible and very painful experience. I'm a firm believer it all comes back around on sick humans like this. I'll forgive them and let our creator handled this from here. I pray for their soul and their mental sickness.
