The condo decor is a little dated, but we didn’t care! Great location! Walked to many restaurants and to Lauderdale by the Sea. The Tiki Bar on the property has good food and cocktails. Beach was awesome!

We just finished staying at this condo and it truly had everything we needed for us and our three kids to enjoy ourselves in Fort Lauderdale. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make meals and having two full bathrooms was so helpful for baths and showers. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having a TV in each bedroom in addition to the living room (since this isn’t something we do at home) so it was a nice treat for us and our kids in the evening before bed. We loved the pool and the easy access to the beach. The town was safe and there is a grocery store and plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. As a runner it was nice to take long jogs around such a cute and safe town and then retire to the pool for a pina colada from the tiki bar.

The condo had lots of space and was very clean. Check in was easy and we didn’t have a single issue while we here. The beach, pool, and tiki bar were perfect and we were close enough to a lot of bars and restaurants to enjoy the night life. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Can’t say thanks enough! We had such a great time staying at Steve’s place (Ocean Manor) The communication was super easy and quick and the place was clean and smell pleasant! It has everything we needed! The location is also great . I would absolutely recommend staying there!

First of all, thank you to Steve for being very responsive to any and all questions prior to arriving. Unfortunately, there are things that would have deterred us from staying here again. The unit is very dated. We could care less about the dated decor (shabby chic); however, everything in the unit was very dated. The pictures don’t show well and the descriptions says “updated and renovated”. This is the furthest from the truth. The mattresses were clearly very old and worn, felt as if you were sleeping on cardboard on top of springs or were sinking into the middle. The sheets and bedding were so old, seemed clean, but did not give you a great feeling getting into bed (think ‘70s motel). There were plenty of towels and beach towels in the unit, but again, clearly very old. You will note that previous reviews suggest a deep cleaning and that is exactly what it needs. I have no doubt the cleaning people do a good job with surface cleaning (that was obvious), but the unit just gives you a “skeevy” feeling. We wanted to watch a movie late one night and use blankets but the extra blankets were full of hair and just gave us a gross feeling. The unit could use a deep clean, fresh paint, new mattresses and bedding and towels and that would go a long way in creating a comfortable atmosphere. Another thing to note is that we were told we could leave our luggage with the front desk to hold until our later evening departure flight. This is not true at all, the hotel staff told us that

We spent 5 days at the condo and enjoyed it very much. The location was perfect for access to groceries and local eateries. Love the pool area and Tiki bar. A fantastic vibe! With it being right on the beach, it makes for a wonderful beach getaway. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The size was perfect for our group of 6 people. We will definitely be back!

Steve was a great host, and his condo had everything we needed and more. The Tiki Bar downstairs was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a great time at Ocean Manor and would recommend this place.

This trip was the second time my friends and I have stayed at this condo and it was fantastic. We love coming here!

Our family came to visit friends, and we found the property conveniently located. We could literally walk to a few places we needed to go. Great for walks in the morning in the neighborhood or on the sand. This was my first visit to this area of the state, and the property reminded me of my childhood. The decorations and amenities added to the personal touch. There was plenty of space and it provided all the essentials for our length of stay. Our children enjoyed the rooms, the games, and the pool. The owner was always responsive and courteous.

What an amazing experience as a first timer for VRBO . Steve the host was amazing throughout the whole booking and stay available to answer any questions or concerns. The location was perfect for us to relax on the beach, enjoy the pool and tiki bar which was all a few feet away and the valet parking was a homerun.. super friendly and cost effective. We will def be staying here again.

My husband, my 3 adult children and I had a great time. This unit was just as described. A little dated, but very clean and the air worked great, Florida in August is hot!! Beach chairs and umbrellas we found in the unit were perfect and saved us $$ on renting them. We bought some boogie boards at 5 below and used them to float and relax in the warm and clean ocean and left them there for the next family to hopefully enjoy as much as we did. We only hit the pool for about 2 hours total but it was also clean and we had no problem getting chairs there too. Lauderdale By The Sea area is totally within walking distance and had lots of fun bars and restaurants. The Tiki bar on site was also great. Decent bar food when we wanted something quick and super lively. Dennis Rodman was even there one of the days and being from Chicago, we though that was super fun. Steve the manager we dealt with was great too. We got there at about 1:30 and we were able to get into the unit before the planned 4PM usual check in. That is always a plus. If I am in the area again, I will stay here again for sure!!

First impression was not the best. I looked at the website for Ocean Manor and it’s definitely more dated then the website pictures. On the other hand the listing on VRBO is very accurate. We were disappointed at first because there was loud construction going on at the hotel next to it. Which this host has no control over. The host had great communication. The tiki bar had great food, drinks and the staff was fantastic. You can rent chairs, umbrellas and Jetskis on the beach. The condo has beach items, chairs and umbrellas. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Location was better than I thought. Walking distance to shops and food store. Very easy to get an Uber/ Lyft. We went to American Tapas Room for dinner and we highly recommend it.

I come to Fort Lauderdale very often. I’ve stayed at Ocean Manor many times, this was my first time renting a condo here instead of checking into the actual hotel. Check in is way easier, the condo had everything you need for your family and friends. Games, plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, kid toys Ext. The condo literally had every single thing we needed. Location is perfectly located on the beach. Will definitely come back again, and stay here. Thank you.

There were roaches, and the washer didn’t work. The contact person was extremely apologetic and tried to remedy both situations; he also refunded us for a couple of nights. He seemed surprised about the live roaches in the kitchen (they were babies, no adults) and immediately sent a colleague to do what he could (look for openings - which were plentiful, unfortunately) and spray a non-toxic application. An exterminator came the next day to put down small bait/poison globs around the cabinets, counters, and appliances - which weren’t fun to bump into, but they worked. We continued to see the bugs only for a few days, but no more by the time we left. We kept our food in the microwave and refrigerator and took out the trash frequently. He actually sent the exterminator once more, but we were all in the unit and didn’t want our vacation interrupted further. The washer part was ordered, but it didn’t come while we were there. He offered to reimburse us for the coin laundry. I’ve stayed in the Ocean Manor before and have never had a problem until this time. It’s a nice unit, but it needs attention -gaps for bugs to come in, and the tile floor, doors, trim, and chair legs need a bleach cleaning. There weren’t enough wash cloths (since we didn’t do laundry), and they and the towels were thread-bare; they all desperately need to be replaced. A fresh coat of paint would help too. I feel the contact did everything he could to salvage our stay, and we still managed to have a nice time.

I spent a lot of time researching places to stay in Fort Lauderdale and I’m so happy I chose this condo! I traveled with my husband and 3 sons. We needed 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer, dryer, kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella, ocean view, walking distance to grocery store (teenage boys eat non stop), Wi-Fi, pool and family friendly environment….this condo checked ALL the boxes! Steve was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We travelled with my disabled mover and <1 year old infant and this was the perfect location - all accessible and in great location with restaurant and coffee bar on site. All shopping needs a walking distance away - super easy. Beautiful views of the ocean from all rooms - nicely stocked space, comfortable couches and seats. All amenities are new and working. We loved our stay all around and will be back!

We had the best family vacation at the Ocean Manor Condo it was clean and comfortable. The resort is very friendly and very up beat. We enjoyed the pool, tiki bar’s food and drinks and the beach steps off the property. Easy stay start to finish! Take the water taxi and experience the area from the water. Ft. Lauderdale by the beach close by with great restaurants with nice entertainment and shopping. We would love to return. Thank you,
