The hosts were fabulous- very communicative and couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely welcome gift. There were lots of bathrooms and the main living room / communal area was great for us all hanging out together. There was lots of outdoor seating for meals and around the pool and It’s not too far from the Marina or Papagayo! Really good location with good parking. It has lots of amenities - big washer and dryer, TV with Netflix and good Wi-Fi, 2x dish washers, lots of kitchen appliances and tools. The bedrooms and bathroom design was really nice, modern and simple. The backyard was sunny in the early mornings for tanning and the house keeper was super nice when she came. A well equipped villa!

The outside of the villa (front) really could do with some love. There are some random doors leant against the side of the building and loads of peeling paint on the floor so your first impression isn’t really great or representative of the villa. Some potted plants could make it feel more welcoming. (There are also 2 villas being built on the same street so there was building works although they tried to keep it down to be fair to them and this is no fault of the hosts but The street itself feels unfinished) The villa has a really odd layout like it’s been 2 villas knocked into one? One of the bedrooms downstairs with 5 beds has a padlock on it which is a bit weird and made us a bit uncomfortable. There’s also a big hall downstairs outside the bedrooms which just feels a bit like dead space- maybe a little flat padded stool or something would help or plants. There isn’t a picture of the roof terrace in the advert because you can’t go on to it - for “privacy and security” reasons, But when looking through the locked door to the roof terrace it seems a bit messy up there and I wonder if they could make it a useable space because it’s a real shame. There are NO views at all here really apart from by the front door and for thato reason we probably wouldn’t stay again-It feels very enclosed. The pool area is in shade a lot of the time which in summer - no problem, but In January meant we didn’t use the pool as often. We paid extra for a heated pool which I have to say shouldn’t be put in the advert because it makes it seem as if that comes as standard and it doesn’t and i can’t say it felt particularly warm just… not totally freezing I guess. The pool itself is pretty small for the size villa I think. Half of it is taken up with steps so it’s more for lounging than swimming. There were 7 of us and only 3 ever got in at the same time. The BBQ area was really disappointing. No lights so can only bbq in daylight which again - January sunsets at 6ish.

We were aged 2 to 72 and it suited us perfectly. Kitchen and numerous shower rooms were great as there was 15 of us. Fred and Julien were responsive when needed. Pool area was perfect and bbq there to use too

Excellent layout of space for large group. Everything of a high quality. Every appliance you can ask for in terms of kitchen and laundry. All new equipment. Reality of the villa even better than the pictures.
