Nice and quiet surroundings for travellers like us who do not fancy the international huss and fuss of bigger hotels or villages. Little kitchen for cooking our own meals makes travelling easy. The hot pot lovely private luxory. And of course our friendly hostess, Snotri the dog.

It would have been even better if the hot pot had worked right away, same with the lock on the door, but it was nice to chat with the local handyman.

Location perfect. Cabin cute and maintained. A couple minor things that did not effect our stay like the clock battery and the coffee maker not working. We had wrong coffee anyway so not important.

We loved the view, the open space for the kids to run, the quiet, and the cabin feel. We absolutely loved exploring this little town. We found a beautiful local swimming spot. The sweet dog was also a nice touch. She definitely made herself at home in our cabin while we enjoyed breakfast.

We were unable to get the wifi working, however had great communication and could have gotten it figured out if we felt the urgency. I actually enjoyed telling the kids the wifi didnt work. The hot tub was HOT, but we turned it off and let it cool down a couple hours and then it was absolutely wonderful in the evenings. The cabinets could have been a bit cleaner. But with the low cleaning fee was absolutely ok for me to wipe them clean quick.

We didn’t have warm water and couldn’t shower for days, only after complaining on the phone we were invited to take a shower in their nearby hotel, which was nice but we would of liked they informed us upfront and not after we complaint. Cold water in shower also didn’t drain as it was too dirty.

Great location, near Hveragerdi town and the hiking trails and hot river. Beautiful setting, with view on a meadow. Great hot tub, ready for use at arrival. Sweet local dog, “Snotra, Queen of Nupar”.

The location was amazing and perfect for exploring the South West corner of Iceland. From here there was lots within an hour or two radius in every direction giving a much better base to go further than if staying in Rekjavik. Cottage was clean, warm and tidy. Bed was super comfy.

The hot tub was not hot so couldn't really use it, and despite reporting the issue (as per the sign in the bathroom) no one came to fix it during our 5 day stay. Shame, especially as we were there as a couple and specifically booked so we could soak after long days exploring. Cottage facilities a little tired, and the kitchen equipment basic, but functional.

at the beginning we had problems with regulating the temperatur and with the cold water.

The cottage location was great, greeted by the local farm dog which was pretty cool. The cottage and hot tub with room space was more than we than we expected. Thank You for your hospitality we would love to come back again. Thank You from your neighbours in the UK

good location, easy to find and really enjoyed the hot tub.

we weren’t allowed into the house on time and had to wait 2 hours before we could go in for it to be cleaned, there wasn’t a spare key left for us, no hand towel or tea towels, we thought a cleaner bath mat could have been left. and there was a leak which covered the floor everyday and it looked like staff had let themselves in but just put tissue paper down on the floor instead of fixing.

Beautiful cottage house in beautiful area, great base to visit around attractions of the island. House is well equiped, warm, cosy, enough space. Big plus is a hot tub, evenings in it were just perfect! And we fell in love with friendly dog that was wondering around cottages! Thank you for great stay!

Amazing customer service, best i've ever had. The hot tub was great, bigger than it looked on pictures. All in all a good cabin and would definitely stay there again.

The freezer does not work! The fridge is barely cold but we woke up the next morning to a huge puddle due to the ice we put in the freezer. (which we obviously thought worked) There is a dog there (could go in the good things or bad, depends on your opinion on dogs) he will eat your stuff if he gets in your cabin and he smells really bad but he's cute.

Location was good, staff was friendly. Hot tub is good to have for relaxing evening dips. Overall good value for money.

Cottage was not very clean, we could feel cleaning job was done superficially. Dirt and cobwebs in corners of the room and under the bed. we had to wash all the kitchen dishes and utensils before using.

It is a log house in a beautiful place. You can enjoy the stay in nature, and, on the other hand, there are a grocery shops and restaurants in 5 minute drive. The house itself is clean and with a magic smell of the wood.

It would be nice to have a more visible sign for the Nupar cottages on the road.

The houses are surrounded by greenery and trees, a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Lovely view of the mountains.

We booked for 4 adults and a 12 year old. However, we arrived to find only 2 beds. Why on earth they allow you to book for 5 people when only 4 can be accommodated. Room per se was ok; though not spacious at all. We had a hard time falling asleep due due the noise of the heater (we got in touch with management for this reason as well, however as expected no response). The radiators don't respond and don't have any hot water to wash up or take a shower. Television and wifi rather bad. Very bad cleanliness. Uncleaned jacuzzi Uncleaned bbq without gas! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
