The house was a good size, just what we needed. Beds all nice and comfy with nice linen

House is very tired and needs some work. Bottom stair tread was loose, bath panel missing but these should be sorted now as reported to host. Garden was very messy with furniture broken or wobbly. Shopping trolly full of rubbish, bins overflowing. Not enough space for all guests to sit if house is full.

Easy to get to and all the faciltiies that we needed. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. Kitchen tired and could do with some attention. It has the potential to be really nice.

The property looks a little tried and especially the entance hall and outside area was not welcoming and messy

The space. The property has a lot of bedrooms all en-suite. Also has great parking spaces. Location is great, it was quiet. Very close to town.

1. Fridge is too small for the number of bedrooms. It was also dirty inside with traces of milk. The little freezer section was also not clean. 2. The dining section is also too small to comfortably accommodate the numbers if all rooms are occupied. We were 11 and yet the table only sits 8. The table also needs upgrading to a solid one as this one is very shaky with wobbly legs. Chairs look like plastic but we’re comfortable. 3. Need a bigger kitchen bin for the same reasons as above. 4. As it’s a fairly old house, you could do well to put in some plug in air fresheners to dilute the strong smell especially as you come in through the main door. 5. First and 2nd steps going up need urgent attention as they are shaky and can present an accident in waiting. 6. It would be ideal to provide dishwasher tablets or state clearly for people to bring their own, including show gels. 7. The living room could also benefit from additional sitting chairs. Doesn’t need to be another sofa but just two lounge chairs to provide enough sitting when there is maximum numbers booked. 8. The garden looked neglected, not sure if it’s because it is winter? Hopefully it is well looked after the rest of the year. 9. Having a second cooker on the 2nd floor is not very ideal but it helped as we were cooking a big Christmas dinner. We would have appreciated it downstairs or fitting in a double cooker and over downstairs in future.
