テカポ中心部や、「善き羊飼いの教会」まで歩いて行ける距離だったので、観光にも買い物にも便利だった。

Location was good and easy to find.
Plenty of fire wood if we needed it
Place was clean and warm
The shower was great
No step on the front deck
The second toilet was squashed in one side by the basin
No instructions for the hrv type system
No where to put your soap in the shower

House was reasonably new and in a great location..
All the outside lighting did not work.. plug in kitchen sink could not be removed to use sinkenrator properly.

they were so accommodating to our needs. Also that house had great amenities. Even had a modern tv with streaming

photos were a bit deceiving. Expected a mountain view as stated, but the mountains were obstructed. construction site view. maybe description is old and requires updating? not quite what we were expecting. Was clean and tidy which made up for it.
queen (more like double) bed wasnt comfy, way too soft. others seemed to be fine

Small problem in an otherwise great stay.
Toilet cistern was really noisy when refilling, must have a small leak or something as it made noise intermittently throughout the night. Could only be heard in the bedroom that was next to the toilet.
Someone had turned on the outside tap to water the garden overnight. Turned off when I went to bed as it was very noisy.

We enjoyed our stay. We were a family of five and the house was comfortable, clean and spacious enough. The house had a great oven , spacious bathroom, a nice little deck and its a short walk to the town village. Check in was friendly and easy.
The following are some property observations. The house furniture is basic and there isn't really outdoor space for children to utilise. There is also another rental on the same property, its situated directly behind this cottage so there's not much privacy. I also thought the house overpriced. We did stay over the NY period when prices are premium but it felt too costly for the house specifications.

The location was great, really convinient. Close to the lake and supermarket. the beds and pillows were clean, big and comfy. Lots of hangers and drying racks.
One minor issue, the shower area could use a rack/shelf to place body wash/shampoo.

Need to do something with the exterior of fridge door as badly scratched....looks like a steel had been used on stainless!
New silicon around shower wouldn’t go amiss
A shower caddy would be handy.
Could hear neighbors noise but internal no internal noise.

Location close short walk to Lake and Town. Views from several of the rooms were great. Great heating options.
Proximity to road and other houses was much closer than expected. The road works could not have been forseen.

No breakfast, but hosts were so friendly and helpful, warned us about the town siren, turned up promptly to fix access to the internet, returned without complaint to change the gasbottles, while place was very clean and had everything we looked for. Was so impressed with the fully made up beds. Would definitely be happy to return!
Only two little things which did not detract from our experience, but if looking for things to improve:
The cottage slept 8 and we had 8 staying. There were 6 dinner plates, 3 side plates, 3 cereal bowls and 3 soup bowls, so meals are awkward as we at cooked all our meals ourselves. The shower seemed to be leaking somewhere as the bath mat was always soaking and a lot of excess water on the floor after each shower.
