It was old not well maintained rooms..

We really enjoy staying at this property, the rooms are nice and normally clean and proper. Although the past two visits we have encountered the same front desk worker who has led us astray or to a dirty room. Upon check in we asked him if there were any room upgrades available we could pay for to be on a higher floor and we were told no. To our surprise, we got given a dirty room so we contacted another employee at the front desk and we were given our same room type on a higher floor that had actually been cleaned. I understand mistakes happen but we also talked to this employee again in regards to restaurant information and we were told it was by reservation only, which is not the case. In addition to this, he told us the special event transportation was not running but thankfully we talked to another hotel guest in the elevator and they gave us the proper information. The front desk employees are setting the tone for the stay and representing the hotel, this was disappointing and wasted quite a bit of time as we were left with misinformation. Nonetheless, based on past stays the hotel itself is great, most of the staff are helpful or seek out the information needed if they don't know, the restaurant is cozy and beautiful, the staff in the restaurant area are excellent.

When we came to check in at 3:30 we were told our rooms would not be ready until 5pm as they allowed a bunch of late checkouts for the football team. Without any notice beforehand. This was very frustrating and unfair as checkin time was 3pm. We were offered a few drinks at the bar and that is all.

Beautiful old stately hotel, great place to stay

Absolutely beautiful hotel! This old hotel is located right across the street from a park, two blocks to the mall and other nice restaurants. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful they made us feel like royalty. Great food and drinks. You could literally just stay there and go no where else.

The bar was great if a bit spendy. I do not understand the impulse to put truffle oil on everything but it was great. The room was clean and the staff was super.

We enjoyed our stay. Soula in the dining area was very friendly & accommodating. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The room was very clean. I would definitely stay at this Hotel again. All of the staff were very professional.

Everything was great but elevators were slow when busy.

I didn’t like that I was affected by fleas

The rooms don’t have a fan or windows that open so it’s quite stuffy.

For what you pay I’d expect a lot more. Especially when you can’t go outside cause of how sketchy it is.

We had to be moved to 3 different rooms because of various issues, however, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, beautiful rooms, great AC, beautiful hotel, coffee and restaurant on site, ample on site parking for a fee, close to the pick up area for Roughrider's game

I was delayed due to a flight cancellation so I had to move my reservation. Elias at the hotel provided excellent service to insure that I would have a room whenever I arrived. It was refreshing to speak with a true professional that still cares about customer service! The rooms are elegant and very comfortable, the bar staff superb. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We chose to stay in Hotel Saskatchewan as it appeared to be "the high-end hotel" in the area (stayed one night on a business trip). Although we liked the professional and friendly staff as well as the hotel location, the property and everything else inside (including bed linen worn out, with a few holes) was really dated. As well, our room was terribly noisy due to a set of fans sitting on a lower roof of the same building (parking lot side). Very sorry to say but, altogether, it was a very disappointing stay, this hotel facilities are inconsistent with price and rate.

What a cool hotel in the old tradition. Very beautiful. We were offered an upgrade to a suite at a very reasonable charge which we accepted. It was very comfortable. Parking is in the rear and costs $20 per night, but was convenient and comfortable. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the Nespresso machine which made lukewarm coffee. I reported that to the desk as we departed. We ate the breakfast buffet and it was quite good. We especially appreciated the fresh fruit.

For a hotel of this standing the room was disappointing. We paid extra to stay in a suite as although we had previously requested a king bed with a walk in shower they did not have one so we had to upgrade to a junior suite. The bathroom was so tiny - it seemed that the toilet was an after thought. I am not sure if this hotel offers room service but there was no information in the room at all about the hotel services or indeed the area.

I really liked the service at this hotel. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff was very accommodating.

Nice hotel, centrally located. The parking was a bit pricey at $20 per day but aside from that no complaints.
