Fantastic hotel that provides 5 star service. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On our second night there was a bit of hammering somewhere near us but otherwise it was a quiet enough hotel. The rooftop is one of, if not the best in Barcelona. Would love to go back one day.

Great service, amazing location, great piano

Booked the hotel based on a colleague's recommendation. Glad I did. Room and view was lovely. Staff was awesome. And the location couldn't be beat, walking distance to 3 metro lines and a short walk to the Gothic Quarter. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Majestic Hotel! Everything felt so upscale, and the location was perfect. We loved the luxe room & gorgeous bathroom (and oversized tub!), service provided by the staff & proximity to the site’s & restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone who loves feeling spoiled on vacation! We can’t wait to come back soon!

Perfect location on a beautiful boulevard.

We stayed in the apartment part of the Hotel which is just across the street. We loved our stay; the place had a nice kitchen, living room and spacious rooms. The hotel is in a central area and we were able to walk to the Sagrada familia and Montjuic and ramblas. The rooftop bar is a must try. Staff were friendly and always helpful.

The hotel was beautiful and definitely had history. I had hoped for a more grand lobby experience. The new pool was fab though small and the rooftop pool was beyond tiny but nice for the kids. The room was large and much of it was nice but the furniture was very old and seemed very dirty and we didn't want the kids to sit on it and really didn't want to ourselves either -- sofas need replaced/ updated. Its in the BEST area and that was the best part probably. The place is packed and tough to get support from Concierge. The worst part was their WIFI. It was HORRIBLE. They even gave us an individual hotspot for our room and it was just as bad as hotel wifi. They definitely need to improve the WIfi. Great housekeeping staff -- They were the best part!

The Majestic has long been a hotel that feels like our home away from home, offering comfort and hospitality that we have come to cherish. However, I regret to express that during our most recent visit, the experience was marred by the performance of the front desk staff, who appeared to be among the least qualified to deliver the level of customer service we have come to expect from your esteemed establishment. Specifically, we encountered a notable lack of empathy when our requests were addressed. Rather than actively engaging with our concerns and exploring the various options available to assist us, the responses we received felt dismissive and did not reflect the personalized service that has historically characterized our experiences at The Majestic. It is our sincere hope that you will consider enhancing the training and development of your personnel. By doing so, you will empower your staff to better meet the needs of your guests and restore the high standards of service that have made The Majestic a cherished destination for many. We look forward to seeing improvements on our next visit and to once again enjoying the exceptional hospitality that has defined our previous stays.

The service at the roof top is rude!

A great location, but be careful. Two parts of this hotel, one on the main stretch but apartments are across the road and have an earlier check out time vs the main hotel. Wooden veneer hotel keys were not the best at getting doors to open first time. In the appartment service is slow. 45 mins to request extra towels and no shower gel in one of the showers. Seating areas on entrance to the main hotel can do with a deep upholstery clean.

Everything was just perfect. The staff were attentive and very professional. Enjoyed our stay.

Rooms not described well, surprisingly small for a deluxe king room. Would likely choose another property for my next Barcelona trip.

Stayed in the apartments which were a bit shabby and not completely clean. Good location and reasonable service but expensive for the quality of the accommodation. The shower was truly awful!

Very spacious room for family of 4. Initially was surprised the apt was across the street from hotel but loves the apt configuration and kitchen area. Fitness center in hotel was very nice and modern.

Stayed at the One Hotel Near by for several nights and it was very nice but the Majestic was more luxurious overall and service was excellent. Nice roof top as well.

I enjoyed the hotel and wished that I had more than one night, however, I was not happy that I was told upon check in that the pool would be open until 11 PM. When I went to the pool at 9 PM it was locked, in spite of being told by someone else that worked at the hotel that it should be open. After speaking to a 3rd person, I was told that the pool closed at 6PM. This was disappointing since the pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.
