The location was perfect for us.Hop off the highway restaurant right there to have dinner in.Didn't even have to get in our car. Hotel rooms were immaculate, very comfortable bed. And the breakfast was pretty good too.

This hotel made my summer family trip difficult to enjoy. I ended up checking out early because of the condition of the room. First- the bathroom smelled horrible due to the shower curtain. It had that mold/pee smell. Also, the shower head did not turn on and the bathtub was clogged with hair Second- there was some sort of stain on the pillowcase and headboard of the bed my daughter use. Thirdly- there were balls of hair on the floor I was also informed there is an early check out fee which I found hard to understand why a hotel would charge to leave early. The staff was pleasant but that does not make up for the condition of the room. I was told the manager would contact me about my stay, but this has not happened. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

We enjoyed our stay.

Challenging stay for us. The facilities were fine -- clean and comfortable. But unfortunately the room next to ours was the setting for a domestic disturbance in the middle of the that was very loud. We felt the hotel was slow to respond to what could have been a scary situation, and I was scared for my family when it sounded like the confrontation next door was suddenly on the verge of getting violent. Fortunately the situation resolves without injuries, but I feel the police were not brought in until far too late. And I did not feel that the hotel did enough to calm our nerves or compensate us for a very unnerving and not at all restful stay. We had driven 12 hours and had many more to go -- this was just supposed to be a place where we could get some peace, quiet and a good night's sleep. I run a small business and I know I would have offered more to guests in our position than a breakfast voucher. Further, the person at the morning registration desk went on an extended monologue about how scared SHE is of Toledo and how bad the crime is there -- which didn't make us feel any better, and won't entice us to stop either at this hotel or the city of Toledo anytime soon.

Coffee pot was broken, room never serviced by housekeeping, went and asked for clean towels both days. Did not like Bistro at all!! Didn’t realize voucher had to be all used at one time or lose the balance! Room was great, loved the shower!

It felt like everything was done on the cheap. Skeleton crew for customer service, who seemed competent and were nice enough, just not enough of them. Constant line at front desk and only one person there. Folks seemed to be having enormously complicated check in or check out problems. Same at breakfast Saturday. No continental breakfast, but only one person to serve heated up “Starbucks” food. Towels in room were bare minimum and cheap. Laundry requires quarters, doesn’t take care, which requires trip to front desk, and see above about lines. Motel 6 level amenities but at Mariott prices. Saying all that, beds were comfortable, and that’s important, which is why I rated it two stars instead of one.

Marriott Courtyards are known for the professionalism. This property is the exception. At checkin I was told my verified reservation and prepayment was not received and a second payment was made. Several calls to .”levels of command “ later resulted in two charges for one night. Stay elsewhere. There are good options at the location.

Our stay was great, since we was there for my mom's pacemaker surgery, which went well then we relaxed before going home. The hood around is close and delicious.

When checking in at 8pm, the front desk service was horrible. No one welcomed us, we were standing there with 1 guy that wasn’t helping anyone and he finally asked for my ID. He barely said 2 words. As he was doing the check in, the phone started ringing and the lady at check in snipped at the guy to pick up the phone. She was helping someone but once he was done he almost forgot his luggage he was so frazzled. The hotel was nice and clean.

Nice and clean property, but staff and management need improvement regarding services. Had complications regarding the "breakfast for 2" that was part of the reservations. They did not adhere to Expedia's "included amenities" and no manager on duty after normal business hours. I was at a conference off property during the normal business hours. The communication between staff and their shifts was non existent (it seemed). I had to pay for breakfast for the other person as part of my reservation. It was difficult to get toilet paper as it was locked up past business hours, and snacks or Smart Water was not accessible past business hours as that was locked up as well. I would recommend having an asst manager with keys and authority for night shifts to ease the burden of confusion. It seemed as if no one wanted to make decisions that needed a manager.

Great management

Bed and pillows were comfortable, room was spacious, headboard cover was detached. What I really didn’t like was the check in, extremely slow and not very friendly. I think you should offer a continental breakfast like the Holiday Inn next to you. I tried to order a breakfast and I was told I have to wait 30 minutes because they just have turned the oven on, didn’t sound too good for a place with your reputation. I would visit again as long as you don’t host one of those satanic convention because your place will be cursed.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. The hotel when walking in was very nice. Our room was looked nice and appeared clean but stunk like curry and cumin. There were three of us in the room and we were only given 2 bath towels. There were no towels in the pool area and no blow dryer in the room. When I asked about a blow dryer and towels the staff seemed annoyed. I was given towels but told they were out of blow dryers. The beds were rock hard. Overall I wasn’t impressed and probably wouldn’t chose to stay there again.

Courtyard has become a no frills, self-service brand over the years and the condition of the properties vary widely. Thankfully, this one is still clean and in good condition. The desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, maid service is by request only so make sure you let them know in advance if you think you want fresh towels or your trash emptied during your stay. But overall this property is clean and functional and in a bustling retail area that is also adjacent to the expressway.
