We have stayed here twice since August. The soap dispensers in the showers DO NOT WORK. None of them do. Each time I have called the front desk and they apologized. It seems the owner is not interested in fixing the problem. So I am not interested in staying here again. Our son is attending college in town and playing sports so we are there frequently. We will be staying elsewhere.

Comfortable bed, close to highway, outside steps to second floor

We booked a king suite and it was enormous! Two stories with a wet bar and two bathrooms. The bathrooms were a little beat up. Biggest complaint was the bed was pretty uncomfortable and the air conditioner made a lot of screeching noises but over all was a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly and it was a good price.

The room was comfortable and roomy. We liked that this Best Western had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The pet area was a nice addition.

Found bedbugs when we stripped the bed in the morning. Staff gave us full refund.
Also, multiple stains around the room including suspicious white stains on comforter, and what appeared to be blood(?) on the curtains.
Staff was very nice and helpful both occasions we interacted with them.
Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

It’s a dated highway motel. Not many options in Alamosa. The pool/spa area smelled moldy, didn’t feel clean.
Toilet ran all night and cars in and out at all hours.
$200 for the night. Pricey for what you get.

The only thing saving this review was the staff being friendly. We didn’t have hot water in our room and were told to shower in the pool house which had lukewarm water at best. We then spent most of the night asking the front desk to do something about the kids above us who stomped around until 3 AM. Ultimately nothing was done leaving us an 8 hour drive on 3 hours of sleep. The morning staff was kind enough to comp out night.

Very overpriced for what you get. The garden area was pretty, but the hotel is on a very busy road, so it was loud and smelled of KFC, located next door. They were unapologetically out of all milk, fruit and eggs for breakfast. All of our key cards stopped working part way through the trip and we had to go back to the office, who seemed totally unconcerned about that being inconvenient after a long day. There was no exercise room and the pool area felt down around the heels. The room was okay, but could use an update. Nothing to recommend staying here, basically, unless you have no other choice.

We could feel the springs in the mattress, breakfast was great, check-in was a little slow. AC was set at 59 in our room, once set it worked perfect, room was a little dark. Shampoo dispenser was empty. Fridge needed a freezer.

After a day sledding the dunes, we found our room to be clean with everything we needed. Staff was pleasant, professional, and prompt. Greatly enjoyed the pool/hot tub facilities. Nearby Thai House restaurant was outstanding for those who appreciate quality Thai food.

The rooms were not very clean but overall satisfactory. The pool was nice but not he bathroom in the pool area was absolutely filthy and disgusting- unusable! The pool deck area was also dirty. We would not stay again due to poor cleanliness !

We enjoyed the spaciousness of our room. We chose this location for its proximity to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. We were very satisfied with our choice.

We weren't told there wasn't room service every day. Once we asked about it, they did a great job. It even smelled wonderful.
The manager was very accommodating and gave us a discount for no tv that was very fair.

Danielle went above and beyond to handle our need for a handicap accessible room for our mom and 3 of us needing sleeping accomodations.
The only complaint is that each morning a worker would park right in front of the wheelchair ramp to get into the office/ breakfast building, which made entering more difficult, along with no automated/handicap opening door option so entering the building through both doorways for breakfast was quite challenging.

When we got here, everything seemed fine, we were even allowed to check in early. That is where the pleasantries ended. We got up to our room and we were told they were full sized beds, they were 1 1/2 sized. The bathroom door doesnt close unless you pull it shut hard. The hot tub wasnt working even though that is why I booked here. The pool wasnt very clean. There want extra towels so we had to bring our room towels down to use at the pool and then use the same towels after we took a shower. When in the shower, we slipped in the tub, thankfully no one was hurt. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. The parking was horrible. And the clenliness coming up to the room was terrible. There was trash, cigarette butts, soda bottles, and lighters on the stairs.

The room was clean and very quiet. I stayed there 3 nights and never heard my neighbors or traffic! It is a little bit of an older building but it was well maintained. The front desk lady was FANTASTIC! She was helpful, kind, and efficient. The breakfast was okay, but not great.
